Villa Amore is a magnificent private residence situated in one of the quietest parts of the beautiful cliff-side town of Praiano.
Accessed along one of the UNESCO-listed town’s enchanting stepped-stone laneways, the 130sq/m property is nestled amongst lush terraced gardens, tiered over four levels, in the characteristic style of the Amalfi Coast.
The Villa is well appointed, air-conditioned and tastefully decorated with quality fixtures and furnishings, ensuring maximum comfort for guests in the authentic setting of a Mediterranean home.
There is a fully equipped kitchen and open-plan living area that opens onto one of two magnificent terraces. Complete with outdoor setting, sun chairs, BBQ & shade umbrellas the terrace provides the perfect setting for entertaining, family gatherings, sunbathing &/or relaxing in your own private paradise.
The diversity of accommodations makes this the ideal property for couples, groups of singles, family groups &/or that special occasion holiday when family and friends are coming to share the celebrations.
The two spacious double bedrooms, each with ensuite, open onto the lower terrace. There’s an additional studio bedroom which can be provided on request.
The Villa is a short distance from Praiano town centre, with easy access to all amenities: grocery stores, butchery, post office, ATMs, First Aid station, hotels, restaurants and bars, historic churches, services and specialty shops with some of the most exquisite ceramics for which the Amalfi Coast is renown.
It’s a 15-minute walk to the Praia (the local beach) along a beautiful walkway carved into the rocky cliffs and when you get there you’ll find a lovely selection of cafes, restaurants, bars, galleries, swimming places and water activities.
There is a bus stop within easy walking distance from the property servicing all local bus services to the local town and beaches and the coastal SITA bus service connecting to Positano (7km), Amalfi (9km), Ravello (13km), Sorrento (18km), Salerno and beyond. In the high season ferries and launches connect from the Praia to Positano, Capri, Salerno, Sorrento & Naples by sea.
Villa Amore has a private parking space available a short distance from the property. But we do recommend that you consider public forms of transport during the high season as parking can be difficult & costly along the Coast.
The closest airport is Naples. The nearest major train stations are Naples (connecting to the local Circumvesuviana Line into Sorrento) and Salerno. From there it is possible to take public transport services or we can arrange private transfers.

Villa Amore was fantastic. We looked forward to the end of the day when we would have our "happy hour" on the balcony overlooking the blue Mediterranean. In fact most of our meals were had on the balcony. The view was to die for. We recommend the small grocery store a short walk from the villa for some of the best bread, cured meats, wine and general grocery items. The villa was large, comfortable and you wanted for nothing. We stayed here for the last week of our 3 week Italian honeymoon and *LOVED IT.* The owner, Antonio, could not have been kinder or more helpful with his advice and reocommendations for enjoying our stay--great restaurant and touring suggestions. The villa for us, was a vacation unto itself. We felt we didn't even need to leave to feel like we were in paradise! We just loved lounging out on the patios and gazing into the sea or picking fresh and sumptuous figs from the beautiful tree on the property. The online pictures are totally accurate and do not even do the place justice--it is beautiful and very clean and spacious. STUNNING views from all of the rooms (there's actually three bedrooms total). There's a small but extremely well stocked grocery store within walking distance and the kitchen, dining area, or outdoor patios are an amazing space to prepare and enjoy a meal. The house is *totally* stocked with pans, utensils, tableware, everything you need. During the first two weeks of our trip we visited Rome & Venice and couldn't wait to get to our private villa in Praiano and it was truly one of the high points of our trip. Antonio also recommended a great hotel for our stay in Rome and we loved that too (Hotel Giulio Cesare). THANK YOU Antonio for making our last week in Italy one of the finest ;o)Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Maresca Thank you for the wonderful time we spend at your house in October. It was one of the highlights of our holiday, especially the swim in the sea, chat with Rene and visit to Pompeii. "Hello Antonio, I have been meaning to contact you ever since our return from Italy in November last year. We stayed at your property in mid-late October...the crazy 8 people from Aussie with the big people mover and Renault wagon. I wanted to say just how very very much we enjoyed staying in priaino...it was my absolute favourite place during our whole 5 weeks. The entire trip was wonderful and we only had 1 bad day of rain so we were very lucky indeed. I keep wishing to win the Lotto so I can afford to buy a villa in Priaino and retire to the best part of the Amalfi Coast....I will have to keep on dreaming for quite some time yet I think. I have been in touch with Diane and hopefully we will catch up with each other before Xmas. How is your Dad? Keeping well I hope. About the owner: Years ago I bought this property because I saw in this Villa all that I liked in a residential home. I like the nice large garden where I can grow my fruits and vegetables, lots of outdoor space, it is close to town and far enough from the crowd where I can enjoy my privacy. I restored and reconstructed the Villa which had been abandoned for generations making it the most beautiful and enjoyable place to stay.
