Our luxury Crystal Beach home, "A LIL BIT OF LIFE" is our family's dream vacation home and hope it will be yours too! The home is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! Totally renovated 2011 with all NEW flooring, cabinets, furniture, bedding & paint. This home is top notch!This professionally decorated & upscale beach home is located in the charming beachside community of Crystal Beach in the heart of Destin. It is just a short stroll or bike ride from shopping, restaurants, the brand new Destin Commons Mall and most importantly THE BEACH!!!
Our home is located FOUR houses from the beach/less than a 2 minute walk/300 feet to beach. The beach access is WONDERFUL because it is parallel to our street, parking spaces & outdoor shower. Located near the beautiful Henderson Beach State Park.
The home is 2,800 square feet, finely appointed throughout, it features crown molding, plantation shutters, tile, hardwood floors, tumble marble, TV's and DVD players in every bedroom & living rooms, granite counter tops in the kitchen and exquisite furnishings and decor. The main house features 4 bedrooms/4 baths and just behind the pool is the Cabana which has 1 bedroom, living room, full bath and kitchenette. Our home is designed to make your families vacation perfect with all the conveniences that a large group needs for a relaxing and carefree vacation. It has the perfect floor plan for several couples or for multi-family vacations. The home has a 12 ft. by 24 ft. private pool and boasts FOUR private balconies with plenty of chairs to relax and take in the sights/sounds.

First Floor: Living room, dining room, kitchen, full bath, laundry room and queen bedroom.
Our warm living room welcomes you with overstuffed couches for viewing the flat screened TV. Adjoining the living room is the dining room and kitchen with an exquisite dining table, six water hyacinth chairs and four bar stools, granite countertops and tumble marble tile. The kitchen is a chefs delight and fully equipped!
Located just off the kitchen, the first floor bedroom features an elegant four poster pillow top queen bed. This room also sports a great view of the pool.
2nd Floor: master with king pillow top bed/full bath & kids room with queen bed, bunk bed with trundle and full bath.
The master suite is elegantly designed with a king size pillow top bed, clean crisp white linens, flat screen TV & charming decor. In addition, the master bathroom features a jetted tub surrounded by tumble marble and a walk-in shower. Step out the French doors onto your private balcony to enjoy the ocean view and sounds.
The 2nd floor Children’s Room in 'Under the Sea' decor features a bunk bed with a pull-out trundle bed and a queen bed. This room includes its own private full bath and balcony overlooking the pool.
The 3rd floor provides a romantic retreat. It features a living room with pull out queen sofa sleeper, mini fridge, coffee pot, full bath and spacious rear balcony with table/chairs. It has a great view of the beautiful Crystal Beach neighborhood and ocean. Off the living room, the 3rd floor bedroom features a queen bed and private balcony with spectacular Gulf views.
Just step out your back door to the fenced in, inviting private heated 12ft by 24 ft pool ranging from 3ft to 5 ft deep. Plenty of lounge chairs perfect for relaxing after a fun day at the beach! The home also has a outdoor shower and gas grill.
Just behind the pool, is the Cabana house which provides a romantic retreat for newly weds or a place for “quiet time” for any grandparents in your group. Its Nautical theme and spacious living area make it great for relaxing, reading, or games. It includes a king bed, queen sleeper sofa, full bath, and kitchenette which includes a microwave and mini fridge.

We came to Destin on our Honeymoon 17 years ago & have been coming to Destin ever since! We love Destin! It is home away from home to our family. We enjoy the beautiful sugar white sandy beaches & our private pool. The kids can swim while we grill & enjoy the company of friends. We love the location of our home it is very close to the beach, shopping, restaurants & grocery stores. If you like to get away from crowds on the beach...just take a right once on the beach & walk just a little stroll down the beach & you are at the Henderson Beach State Park! The neighborhood it nice to take a morning walk/jog. There is also a Baptist Church around the block to attend services & also a wonderful state of the art playground you can take the kids to play on during your stay. The home has it all....great location, pool & beautiful decor.

My family has stayed in this vacation home for the past 3 years. We absolutely love it! The house is very big, very clean, and very nice. It comes with all the amenities that anyone could possibly need. It even comes with additional items such as beach toys, umbrellas, a wagon, and several items for families with babies. My family’s favorite part of the house is the pool. When we're not at the beach, we are in the pool. The house is located right down the street from the beach. It only takes a few minutes to get there by foot. The house is also located close to all of Destin's attractions. Everything is just minutes away. We love vacationing at this house and would recommend it to anyone!

Total of 13 people. Teenagers took the pool house - out of our hair ! There were 2 kids under 5 ( it was wonderful not having to pack a playpen/crib and highchair from home) We came from Oklahoma and Texas.The beach toys - wagon included - was great ! Great access to the beach- a very short walk. We parked our three cars at the house with room to spare.There even enough nets for night crabbing for all. Everything was just as the website said it would be. The pool was awsome. Kitchen was fully equiped. Plenty of linens and pillows. All appliances and light fixtures were in working clean and in working order. Now for the sights: you must parasail, deepsea fish, zipline at Sandustin and visit all the shops there. It is a great place for all !! Night life there is great - dualing pianos!! Its worth the little extra money to have chairs and umbrella set up for us by the ocean every day. Dewey Destin is a great place to eat. A WONDERFUL PLACE TO STAY.

We were very impressed with the newly renvoations to the property, hardwood floors, tile, furniture, fixtures etc.. The property was very clean and everything in good working order. The owners were extremely helpful in answering questions and having suggestions during our stay. We would definately stay again!!

This was our first visit to Destin since our children were in high school. This was a family vacation with adult children and grandchildren. The home was a perfect fit. The location to the beach was an easy five house walk and the beach chair service was an outstanding plus. Loved the pool house (it was the grandparents' getaway). The house is beautiful!!! You have everything you need for kids and family for an enjoyable stay. The house is beautifully decorated, well maintained, very clean and the owners are accessible during your stay. The location of the house is perfectly located for essential shopping at Publix, Walmart, etc. There are great local restaurants nearby. Don't miss out on Pompano Joe's! Close access to family fun such as The Track for go carts, the arcade for children's rides and much much more. The outlet mall was 3 miles away and made the week's vacation even more enjoyable! We feel the value we received was a bargin. I would recommend you not miss out on a great Destin vacation by overlooking the total package this house delivers.

We have children and hate to pack so much stuff when going on vacation. No worries when you stay here! We thought of everything you need and then some! I have my phone on me 24/7 if my guest need anything! I aim to have happy guest! I always tell my guest if you find anything not right you let me know and I will make it right! Usually do not have any calls because everything is top notch when you arrive...no disappointments of a unclean home with broken down items! If you are looking for the PERFECT beach house look no further.....this one has everything....CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN, close to beach, shopping and restaurants. Nothing says it better than satisfied guest!

This is our 2nd time renting a Lil Bit of Life. We have been traveling to Destin multiple times a year for the past 10 years. After the 1st time renting this beautiful home, we said that we will never stay anywhere else again! This home TRULY has it all! It is in the middle of the prettiest beach on the panhandle, Crystal Beach. I know a lot of beach rental homes claim they are only steps from the beach (and I can speak from experience that they are usually a hike from the beach), but this one really is. This home is IMMACULATELY kept up! The home is beautifully furnished, very luxury (granite, stainless appliances, beautiful hardwoods, exceptional travertine floor, etc.), extremely organized, and very well located! The house is very kid/baby friendly, which is a big plus for my family! The house comes equipped with tons of baby/kid supplies such as high chair, multiple pack n' plays, strollers, baby monitors, kids eating utensils, kids pool and beach toys, wagon, beach chairs, crabbing nets (which night crabbing is a must if you have little ones. It's a blast for the whole family), etc. These features alone are huge to a family that has kids, b/c it makes for a much easier travel when you don't have to pack all of these items! The private pool is just fantastic! Just when you have had enough of the beach for the day, you have your own pool to relax, sun bathe, and let the kids splash around in. I must mention that the guest house is great too! It boasts a private king size bedroom, living room with pull out couch, kitchenette, and bathroom (it's perfect for a whole family to reside in). We personally love the guest house b/c my mother (my kid's grandmother) stayed in it so that she could get away to have some quiet time to herself at night. I can't say enough about the location of this home! The beach access is very well kept, great restaurants are very close by, the mall is so close, Publix is across the street, The Track (great family entertainment for kids to ride go karts, rides, arcade) is within 2 miles, the outlets are close in case you have a rainy day, and did I mention that the beach is BEAUTIFUL?! We took advantage of the wonderful opportunity that the owners have set up to rent beach chairs / umbrellas on the beach. We liked that we didn't have to carry these items down to the beach and set them up......they were there waiting on us every day! I could go on and on about this house, but I have reached the limited allowed space! NO COMPLAINTS!!

This particular guest wanted to come and stay another week and our home was already booked for that week....she sent me a text saying she sure missed A Lil Bit of Life !The home she was staying in a few doors down was no comparison!! Our home is decorated to be our home away from home. No cheap cheesy furniture here! We decorated the home with fine furnishings from Pottery Barn and soild wood furniture, granite in kitchen/bathrooms, all stainless appliances. All the beds have nice linens and comfortable mattress! We have stocked the home with everything you need for a great vacation without a lot of packing! This guest said no complaints....if you have one while you are here I will try my best to fix it!! One of my guest said the only complaint he had was they are giving rain can you fix that LOL!!! Book your next vacation with us if you are looking for a higher standard home!
