  We took a spring golf trip to Houston and rented from Sara and Jimmy. The place was perfectly located in a beautiful neighborhood and Sara and Jimmy could not have been better hosts. They provided quick responses, great information and made our vacation easy and comfortable. Could not have been happier with everything! Thank you Sara and Jimmy!

  This is our 2nd time staying at Sara's & Jim's home and it was AWESOME as usual. We booked it on short notice to bring our girls to see Taylor Swift at minute maid stadium, We can't say enough about the home and Sara and Jimmy. A BIG THANKS for the drinks in the frig Jimmy when we arrived late wednesday night...was well needed ..lol..:) A big congrat's on the new house, looks great! We'll be back soon and keep ya'll updated on the house buying situation. Hope you guys enjoy the YEE HAW!! if you guys need anything from us just give us a holler Talk soon & GOD BLESS!!   First off, just one word overall...AWESOME!!! Jimmy & Sara are GREAT! The Home was perfect for our family of 7, we stayed for 2 weeks and we NEVER had any problems with the home. It was really nicely decorated and the neighborhood was super cozy! We are planning on moving to TEXAS from New york and this home was the perfect location for the locations we were loooking for. Just a personal THANKS for the night over for wine & cheese! { Jimmy, I think I owe ya a few Shiner's } We will be back to meet the girls & God Bless your Family..It was a Blast! You guy's have our number & if ya need anything just Call P.S: Jimmy go with the cowboy boot holder...I think it's a WINNER! THANKS AGAIN John & Eileen & The Ferris Bunch!

  Sara Just wanted to let you know that we enjoyed visiting your lovely town and staying in the tree house. It was very comfortable and I love the way you decorated!   The property has many things going for it. First and foremost is its location in Grogan's Mill. As others have noted it is very central to the hub of the Woodland's activities. Also, we appreciated the fact that it was a pet friendly property. The close proximity to nature trails was perfect for walks. The kitchen is well equipped. And we definitely enjoyed having the WIFI. A cleaning service came in halfway through our stay (5 weeks), which was certainly a plus. There are a few things that need attention. The back yard was basically dirt; well worn and in need of sod. The bed in the master bdrm. had no mattress pad and the linens fit poorly. Pillows definitely should be replaced. That room in the lower level of the house was extremely cold when outside temps. were chilly. One of the drawers in the kitchen is broken and taped closed. Half of the garage is home to the electric car (owner's side business). While it wasn't too much of a problem, we did have to be mindful of parking so as to allow access to that car. The neighborhood is quiet for the most part. The house next door seemed to be home to several people. The dog ran loose and the renter there had his car up on blocks the first week we were there. We enjoyed Sara and her family. They were supportive but not intrusive at all. She was easy to work with and prompt with the paperwork. Kudos on their efforts to go "green"!

  Owner response: to our future guests - this last review was a bit critical:( i announced the need to share the garage and showed this guest - in person, the whole house, yard and the one broken drawer, way before they rented. they liked it enough to add days on both ends of their stay (i allowed additional days at a discounted rate) i also refunded full deposit. i do not advertise the house as a perfect gem, just big and clean and comfy and close to everything. if you stay in February & March, the yard will look pretty bare - especially during a bad freeze, like this year. there is a star shaped garden in the yard - which is pretty cute:) our beds are way comfy but the linens may not fit perfectly?! have never had any complaints about the beds or pillows or linens before. yes - we had one broken drawer, which has now been fixed:) this house is a split level and since heat rises, it is cold downstairs in the winter - just the reality of an older split level house. we have tons of comfy throws and blankets to keep you warm and a cozy fireplace downstairs which takes the chill right away. these folks never used the fireplace. and the comment about the neighbor? well - dogs get loose (it is a little yorkie) and cars break down - but in the end - that neighbor's issues do not affect our rental property at all. "ya'll come back now - hear?":)

  If you are in need a property located in north Houston, close to IAH Airport, The Woodlands, with access to everything (shopping, dining, access to major roads without going through major traffic), this is your choice. It's a two story house, fully furnished house located about 5 mins away from a wide variety of retail dining and shopping. The place was very clean when I inspected it the first time, and was ready to go when I arrived. The property owners live across the street, and were very accommodating for the needs of myself and my family during our two week stay. Sara was very easy to deal with, and answered any questions I had in a timely manner. Three big airy bedrooms, each with its own decor and style. The common areas are well staged, with plenty of room for up to 8 people. The lease agreement was clearly written and was in no way hard to follow. The back of the house has a covered patio area, a deck ( outside the largest bedroom downstairs) and a deck that sits on high posts, great for morning coffee or a sun-downer. I would recommend the property to anyone who is looking to host up to 8 people.

  What a wonderfully, peaceful place to stay! We live in the area, but needed a place to stay while having work done on our home. I could feel the tension leaving me as we approached the house. This cute home has everything you could possibly need. The owners are very friendly and live right across the street - a real source of comfort should you need anything. I really enjoyed the mornings out on the decks - both upstairs and down - with my morning coffee. Everything you need is close by, and don't miss a morning stroll on the bike trails - what a beautiful area!
