Enjoy this elegantly furnished NEW home located within the exclusive Lahontan community! Wonderfully situated within minutes of Lake Tahoe and the Northstar, Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows ski resorts, the Lahontan community is both extremely private and close to everything! Our home is situated on a private lot adjacent to the golf course with open space to the front and side of our home. Enjoy the views of the golf course, the open meadows and the lovely pond with the mountains behind it! Privacy and nature is abundant!
The home has an amazing great room with a gourmet kitchen, large dining table, sitting area by a wood-burning fireplace and a separate game table. The spaciousness of the room allows for a large number of people to gather comfortably. The kitchen has a large island with four stools, two sinks, two dishwashers, separate refrigerator and freezer, wine fridge and large pantry. It is fully stocked with brand new dishes, glassware, and small appliances.
In addition to the great room, there is also a separate family room downstairs which provides a great location to play games or watch TV together. The home is equipped with numerous games and books and puzzles. There is an IPOD docking station and Sonos System with speakers throughout the home and plenty of firewood for cold winter nights.
The master bedroom is located on the main living level with a king size bed, a private balcony, and a gas fireplace between the bedroom and bathroom. In addition to the fireplace, the spa-like master bathroom is equipped with a jetted tub, large shower with two shower heads, walk in closet and heated floors. The downstairs guest bedroom has a queen size bed with a private deluxe bathroom. The third bedroom has a full size bed and the fourth bedroom provides great sleeping flexibility with two bunkbeds (one with a trundle). The third and fourth bedrooms share a bathroom located between the rooms. Most of the furniture is BRAND NEW and all of the bedrooms have new bedding and all of the bathrooms are equipped with new towels for your use.
The home is wonderful during all four seasons and is easily accessible in the winter (just minutes from Highway 80) with a flat driveway with a two car garage. There are cross country and snowshoeing trails throughout the Lahontan community for your enjoyment. The home was designed with an ample mud-room and a large laundry room which is easily accessed from the garage to store all your ski apparel. Additional photos are available upon your request.
