Formula for a perfect holiday in Sydney?
Our cozy modern house is in a unique position close to the beaches, and also near the beautiful downtown harbour area. The immediate neighborhood is peaceful and quiet (no noisy pubs or traffic) and is surrounded by 2 golf courses and parklands, as well as a mall in case you need a quick movie fix or want to do some shopping.
We often roll out of bed, welcomed by sounds of Rosella parrots, kookaberras and other local birds, jump into the car and in less than 10 minutes from opening our eyes are walking on the beach at sunrise. We're just a straight 10 - 15 minute drive (or express bus) down Anzac Parade to the downtown area, harbour bridge, opera house, and Darling Harbour.
And our house is completely slick and modern, perfect for those nights you want to cozy up and stay at home, take a jacuzzi, cook a gourmet meal in our full gas kitchen with all Bosch appliances and watch a movie on the large digital flat screen tv.
There are lots of windows and plenty of cross breezes, but if it is too hot just switch on the air conditioning.
The master bedroom has a walk in closet with a private door to the large bathroom, and the other two bedrooms are smaller but both have large built-in closets.
There is free and very fast WIFI in the house.
The house has full security alarms so that you feel completely safe, even though Daceyville is one of Sydney's safest suburbs.
Sydney is huge and if you rent somewhere else, you may get stuck way out in the middle of nowhere. Before deciding, make sure you check out the suburbs on google maps

My husband and I and 3 adult childrem (22, 21,18) stayed in this charming bungalow in Sydney for 1 week. The home had 3 bedrooms, a kitchen, dining area and large family room. The house was perfect for us. We were very close to all the major attractions that we visited. Tyler and Tasmin opened their home, and it felt like we were guests in their home. The property was clean and well maintained. I would definately recommend staying at this home.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

About the owner: Tam and I are a young professional couple, married for 10 years. We moved to Sydney to enjoy the beach lifestyle. When we're not surfing or swimming, we work as University lecturers. We don't have kids and tend to travel a lot.
Why the Owner Chose Sydney CBD:
We lived on Coogee beach for a few years, and found that the benefits of being on the beach were overshadowed by the crazy party noise at nights. its the same on all of Sydney's beaches. its much nicer to be where we are, a short drive to the beach. We can actually sleep and enjoy all the benefits of living in a friendly (not transient) neighborhood. Daceyville is also perfect for going out to the city / downtown, and its close to the mall for a movie.

5 min drive to Eastgardens mall (cinemas, major department stores, grocery, etc.) 5 min walk to two golf courses (Eastlakes and Bonnie Doon) lots of local parks for strolls 2 min walk to large catholic church 5 min walk to local shops (great fresh fruit and vegetables shops!)
