  Group of 12 spent 4 nights over new years there to relax and go skiing. Pros: the house is beautifully decorated, has all the amenities you need, and nice touches like plush bathrobes and locally made bath products, wifi works well, TV is large, tons of fireplaces, nice hot tub, short walk to town, etc. As with all houses in this area, it is only one story, which means that the 2 bedrooms closest to the big living room will be the loudest if some of your group wants to stay up later than others, but the bedrooms closer to the front of the house are very quiet. I would say this house is probably better for 8 people (2 in each bedroom), because any more than that will need to sleep in either the den, or the smaller living room on a pull out sofa, so it certainly won't be as comfortable for them as it is in the bedrooms. Skiing is 30 minutes away (take the short cut to the west of town instead of going to through the town to avoid lots of traffic on a 2-lane road!) and terrific. Eat at Love Apple- delicious and well-priced! The owner of this house, Lance, is extremely easy to work with and just an all around nice guy, and he was able to help answer questions during our stay as well. Overall we had a wonderful experience and would love to come back!

  The photos and description of this place don't even come close to doing it justice! As a professional meeting planner, I am a total hotel snob and this place blew me out of the water. There were 11 of us, all adults, and this house was the perfect mix of luxury and comfort, providing an ideal venue for our girls weekend. Not only is the house well maintained, it is clear that each and every detail was well thought out and that guest experience is a priority for the owners. Lance, the owner, was a delight to work with and actively worked to ensure we were taken care of. Small, but very much appreciated, touches included comfy robes in every room and well-stocked kitchens with coffee pots, spices, and cooking essentials. Walking to the plaza was easy, one of our favorite spots was Eske's Brew Pub (went three times in one weekend!), Graham's Grille and Dragonfly Cafe. One morning we had a yoga teacher come to the house and all did yoga on the deck - a perfec Taos experience. My entire group thought I was a genius for finding this place, but really I was just lucky! We all can't wait to go back and I would absolutely stay here again, even with a smaller group. It is a great value and a wonderful experience!

  This house is fabulous! We had 11 for a family reunion and did sleep some in a local hotel since all were adults but this was our base of operation and it has ample space and lots of areas where those who wish can have some quiet time. The amenities are first rate, well equipped kitchen and great gathering space. We walked to the Plaza easily and avoided the parking crunch. The grocery store is close by. We had a little trouble with Wifi but this was resolved during our stay and the owner is very responsive and truly cares about you having a great time. I would not hesitate to rent this wonderful home again.

  We loved our stay at the Geronimo House! It is a large, beautiful home and has plenty of room for four couples. Wonderful deck and hot tub and the grounds were wonderful. The house is roomy and plenty and space to spread out. Check out the Haruman Temple right down the street - it has beautiful peacocks.We will definitely stay here in the future. Lance was very helpful in telling us the good places to eat, shop and see. The only downside is getting in and out of the driveway on motorcycles.

  To call this beautiful adobe house a luxury place is a major understatement. Every detail of this fabulously decorated home was obviously considered, well thought through and wonderfully presented. From the moment you enter the gates to the property, you realize this place is pure awesome. Each and every room was its own special place, with its own character and very interesting features, and yet, each was connected in style and taste to the rest of the house. Our group was two families that included three children aged 7 through 10, with a total of 7 people. The space and design of the house offered wonderfully staged entertainment for all of us as a group while allowing for people to have quiet privacy when desired. As with most things in life though, it was the little things that really made our experience unforgettable. Beds that were very comfortable and inviting. Thick luxurious towels. Each and every one of us appreciated the lofty, warm bathrobes for the chilly transit between the hot tub and the house. I was also very happy to find both of the kitchens expertly appointed with the big and small appliances (like food processers, good knives, cheese graters, etc) and a variety of staples like spices/oils/sugar which made the dining-in sessions just that much more yummy and easy to plan. Lance's recommendations on places to go in the Plaza were also very key since there are alot of choices, and since the Plaza was so close, it was easy to stroll up to the Alley Cantina for Happy Hour. The description of this property was very accurate and everything was great, however, it was soooo much more. On day two of seven we were already planning next year's trip back to this "one of a kind" home.

  This is a beautiful house with unbelievable amenities. We have young children (6,4,2) and we stay in VRBO rentals often. This house had the best stocked kitchen I've seen (actually, two kitchens!), with everything you need to prepare all kinds of meals, even for crowds. There were 11 of us in all, including 5 children under 7, and there was plenty of indoor and outdoor space. The yard was ideal for curious children: large enough for lots of exploring, but fenced for safety and privacy. The bed and bath linens were excellent quality. The local caretakers are very nice and responded right away to some minor issues. The property owners were also very easy to work with. The walk to town took a little longer because we had to negotiate strollers on some narrow streets without sidewalks, but that would be true no matter where we'd stayed. And it was well worth it to stay in this wonderful house. I would definitely recommend it and will try to stay here again if we come next year.

  Our family stayed in property 325373 for a week to ski Taos together. We could not have been more pleased with our choice! Lance McIntosh (owner) has truly gone out of his way to make this plush home extremely comfortable, clean, well-stocked with amenities, and gorgeous to boot. Lance was also very easy to work with, and made every effort to ensure that our stay was hassle-free. We ski in Taos every year, and this is the nicest home we have rented thus far. The location is ideal and the parking ample. The caretaker is very close by and responds immediately to any concerns. The house is so lovely that you are sorely tempted to skip skiing for a day or two just to lounge around in PJs and enjoy it! Many many compliments to Lance for helping us to create our best Taos family memories yet!

  Our family celebrated a special 50th wedding anniversary at this villa. Finely decorated and fully stocked the home truly exceeded our expectations and made for the pefect setting. The master suite/retreat was the perfect place for the honorees to relax or visit with family ~ a romantic getaway private from the rest of the home. Located a few blocks from the town square, the location allowed family members to come and go as they pleased. And, I can't forget to mention the owners, they were great to work with and very accommodating. I would highly recommend renting this beautiful little gem tucked away in Taos. We hope to make it an annual family getaway!

  Our stay here was wonderful!!! The description was exactly as it said and then some. Plenty of room, fabulous towels, and all the amenities that you would need. Close enough to plaza so you can get around easily. Lance the owner was super nice and warm and answered all my questions and I felt very at ease. Would definetly go back and highly recommend to any size group small or large. Thank you Lance and Holly for sharing your home with us. S&B Dallas

  We were so lucky to have found this property! We wanted to go skiing, shopping, and have the wonderful Taos experience that we have enjoyed over many years! We took our whole family and wanted to all be together yet not all over each other. We were a little tight on funds and we needed a kitchen and at least 5 beds. We got it all with this fantastic home! We did it all and had it all! Plus........much, much more! Amenities galore! Most AWESOME decor! Wonderful renters! You hear beauty is on the inside? This is inside, upside, outside and all around! We hope to use it many more times! (I hesitated to write a review, keep it a secret! Lance is just too nice!) Hope you all have as much fun as we did! Absolutely out of this world and I consider home out of this world! Thanks a million!

  This place was wonderful. My wife and I stayed here and were very pleased. We walked to the plaza every morning for coffie and at night for wonderful food. We are going to try and book this place for every trip to Taos.
