  Barb and Bill, What a beautiful place! Clean, comfortable and well stocked. While the pre trip photos were lovely, we were pleasantly surprised that the actual views and accomodations were beyond what we expected. You were extremely helpful in your e mails prior to the trip and left us with no unanswered questions. What a special week! We were lucky enough to have a full moon while we were there which was unbelievably gorgeous. The beach, the water, the weather was perfect! Particularly enjoyed not having a car and venturing out on bicycle daily. Made life much more fun! The easy access to paddleboard rentals, bike rentals, boat rentals, taxi service, the wildlife kayak, shell seeking (particularly in the evening watching the families explore their finds of starfish, sandollars, and so much more) , the Tiki bar just next door, the people we met, all made for a perfect week of downtime. Your condo location, accommodations and storage facility full of fun items made for a stress free week as we had everything we could have wanted, except for maybe a chef....lol (maybe next time) as we were very content just staying at the condo. Our night at Traders was a lot of fun with great food, good live music and friendly folks and our sunset dinner at Mad Hatters in Captiva was amazing. The Sunday farmers market was a must do if you cook in. Perfect timing if arriving on a Saturday. We enjoyed a few nights of dinner at home with with our market finds such as local fish, fruits, breads and home made chocolate. I am certain we will return as Sanibel is one of those places that leaves a mark on your soul. About recommending to a friend......I certainly would, but I'd like to keep this place our little secret.

We bought the condo as "concrete with a view" after Hurricane Charlie had taken it's toll. We saw that view and felt it was a piece of paradise. We took the opportunity to create the beautiful Tommy Bahama décor with granite, stainless, etc. We enjoy updating our favorites pleases in Sanibel and appreciate the feedback on restaurant, etc. We enjoy personally talking to our guest and are continually finding additional finds and activities on Sanibel.   Hi Barb and Bill, Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise. Your condo is lovely with all the comforts of home, we had an awesome time. The view from the balacony is perfection! We are beach bunnies, so we we spent most of our time at the beach and shelling. We did venture out for some thrift store shopping and a segway tour. The segway tour was a blast and a great way to get some history of the Island. We mostly ate in, but did eat at Cheechee burger - great, Island Cow - awesome, Jerry's for lunch and banana cream pie - yumm. We ate our last dinner at The Timbers, which I hate to say was just average. Maybe an off night. We keep getting told we got out just in time before Isaac, but truthfully we were all hoping for a little adventure:) We will be back!

We knew the potential when we saw the view and I have enjoyed numerous mornings sitting on the lanai with my coffee. When we purchased this condo, I was able to decorate it in a Tommy Bahama theme and use upgraded imported tile, granite, and stainless steel appliances, etc. The Seaway tour sounds like great fun. My husband and I may try that the next time we are in Sanibel. Sorry to hear about Timbers, my husband and I have enjoyed many dinners there.   Fully equipped condo on the beach, great place for kids, we rent every year at this complex, quiet, relaxing, short bicycle ride to shopping, restaurants, grocery store, coffee, gelato, playground, lighthouse

  We really enjoyed our stay in this well appointed condominium. The listing and photos are very accurate but they can't show you the close proximity to the beach or give you the wonderful sound of the ocean that you hear in almost every room. The beach was not crowded and the shelling was fantastic. I have stayed in many places on Sanibel and this is one of the nicest. It was very clean, had lots of extras and was convenient to many restaurants and shopping, when we could tear ourselves away from the beach. I would definitely recommend this property to my friends and family. Those chairs on the Lanai are so comfortable it is very hard not to just dose off and take a little nap. The owners are very helpful and provided a lot of good information and recommendations about things to do ad places to eat. We recommend The Light House Cafe for breakfast, Doc Fords for dinner and the Sanibel Thriller if you want to see dolphins. They almost jump in the boat!! Royal Shell (the property managers) are also very helpful and quick to fix anything that is not working right. If there are any cons, it was that the beds in the guest room were arranged a little oddly and the TV in the guest room did not get all the channels that the other two TVs in the condo had. But the biggest con was that we had to leave. Not to mention that I am still finding sand in my shoes. Maybe I will get it all out in time to go back and fill a new pair. Don’t miss the chance to stay in this place and enjoy a wonderful vacation with everything Sanibel has to offer. My only request is please don’t take live shells. There are plenty of empty ones to take home and if you need any persuading just remember the words ” Big Fine” if you decide that you just can’t throw the live ones back.

The Light House Cafe and Doc Fords are among our favorite restaurants, also. As for the beds in the guest bedroom, they were bunk beds we moved them down for guest safety. The TV in the guest bedroom, is set-up the same and should have the same channels. Will check if something is different. Sometimes guest program parental controls on the TV's. We would like to welcome you, your friends and family to come and enjoy Sanibel, and this wonderful beach and view!

  My husband and I arrived on April 21, 2012 for our first visit to Sanibel. We had a wonderful week at Barb and Bill's beautiful condo. The pictures don't do it justice. The view is stunning. The condo is beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. We cooked every meal in the lovely kitchen, and we felt right at home. Thank you Barb and Bill for opening up your home to us and allowing us to enjoy a wonderful, memorable week on Sanibel Island! Can’t wait to come back! Mary Lou and Dan

It was totally amazing. The condo is decorated in a Florida theme, which I am proud of and thank you for appreciating the warm decor. We continue to try to improved our unit and this trip I am adding items above the basic rental kitchen house wares, so that you and our other guest have more gadgets at your disposal if you choice to cook in the condo.   My husband and I just returned from a week at this condo and both came away with the same feelings of total relaxation and enjoyment. The owners could not have been nicer or more prompt in replying to our questions when making the reservation. They were very helpful about telling us things to do, places to eat etc. The condo complex is small and very close to the ocean (a matter of a few steps from the building). We spent most of our time outdoors, either biking on Sanibels 20+ miles of bike paths or walking on the beach. What time we spent indoors was mostly on the unit's lanai, looking out at the ocean. We saw dolphin from the lanai every day. The shelling was awesome. We biked to The Lighthouse Cafe for breakfast (coconut french toast and banana pancakes-favorites!) Lunch at Gramma Dot's at the Marina was delicious, the blackened grouper sandwich and homemade potato chips-yummy! The key lime pie there was the best we have ever eaten (and we have tasted many). We golfed one afternoon at a nearby course and saw so many osprey and 4 alligators in the nearby water. Bring binoculars! Shopping was fun, we just rode bikes from shop to shop and parked the bikes in the many racks provided. I have never been anywhere so bicycle friendly, there were people on bikes from 5-85, and the cars actually yielded to the bikes. We will recommend this condo and place to everyone. It is so nice when a vacation is better than you think it is going to be! Thanks to Barb and Bill for sharing their little piece of paradise. We can't wait to return to 114.

I have also enjoyed that perfect view and seen dolphins numerous times sitting with my coffee or a "more liquid drink" relaxing. The coconut French toast at the lighthouse cafe is my absolute favorite breakfast ever. Grandma’s at the Marina favorite for lunch, Timbers and Island Cow for dinner. Only steps from the beach, close to the bike path and golf course makes this condo perfectly situated, yet tucked away for relaxing. Bill and I saw the potential for this unit. After hurricane Charlie we saw concrete with a view. We did not hesitate to buy this diamond in the ruff. I love to decorate and worked with the contractor to make this condo "sing", I think it is the perfect Tommy Bahama look with warm whimsical accents. Each of our 4 beach front ocean view units has difference configurations. I have personally decorated each of them making the average, beautiful. We enjoy hearing from our guest and thank you for your returning reservation to paradise. Bill and I enjoy communicating and speaking with our guests personally. Our guest help us learn about PGA instructor golf lessons, and tennis lessons, at the golf course around the corner to baby equipment rentals/babysitting services on the Island.   We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The lanai that stretches across the living room and master bedroom is very nice. We spent quite a bit of time in the comfy chairs just watching the ocean which really is steps away. The pictures accurately depict the unit. The sound of the waves at night is very relaxing. The unit was very well stocked and in good condition. We bicycled (rented from Billys) a lot during our stay. The pool was the perfect temp and we enjoyed the shuffle board while we bbq'd. We would definitely go back.

  Barb and Bill, WOW! we just got back from our amazing week at your beautiful condo in Sanibel. My husband surprised me with a getaway for my 50th birthday (yuck!) but our stay somehow made everything better. What an absolutely amazing view! Direct ocean front with a HUGE lanai (we LOVED those comfy chairs to watch the dolphins and shell seekers)..everything you described was exactly what we experienced during our stay. We cooked in a few nights and went out (The Timbers, Traders...) found an amazing jewelry store (Lily & Co.), walked to breakfast at the Lighthouse cafe and absolutely had a wonderful, relaxing time. What a nice surprise to have access to your storage unit with every beach item you'd ever need. The kitchen was fully equipped, beautiful furnishings ...everything you need for a wonderful time. Thanks for answering all our questions prior to arrival...we thoroughly enjoyed everything. Hope to be back! Many, many thanks! Laura & Jim
