Privately owned, single level home in “The Estates” of Gold Canyon where you are greeted by natural Sonoran desert landscaping with marked walking and hiking trails at your door step where wildlife (rabbits, quail, cardinals and deer) great you. This home has a private court yard entry, private pool with waterfall, fire pit and views of the Superstition Mountain and the lights of Phoenix on the Perverse. As you enter the home you are greeted with a view of the back yard. Decorated in a southwest style, this 3 bedroom, 2 ½ bath, 2400 square foot home has ceramic tile throughout, with carpet in the bedrooms and a great room. The master bedroom has a king-sized tempurpedic bed, large walk-in closet, a full bathroom with a double vanity and separate shower and garden tub. A flat screen TV, cable, DVD player is provided. A private entrance to the back yard is also in the room. You can also see views of the pool and the Superstition mountain and Phoenix from the windows. The kitchen is stocked with all the necessities. The kitchen looks over the pool and the Superstition mountain and Phoenix. Off the great room is a formal dining room and a den which has a queen sleeper sofa and views of the private court yard. A privacy screen is provided when this room is in used for guests. The back yard has a large gas grill, table that seats four, two lounges and great views of the “Valley of the Sun” where watching the breathtaking sunsets is a must. A separate utility room with a washer and dryer. A two car garage with a door opener, wireless internet is also provided.

The house and area were great. There are a lot of walking trails outside the front door. Mountain trail walks are close buy. All major shopping is within a 10 minute car ride. This house is close to highway 60 which was important for us in doing day trips - easy - quick access. The house worked well as we had children with grandchildren visiting. The house was big enough to have separate areas. The views from the home were also great. Working with the owner was easy and very professional - they responded to emails right away and were available for any questions or concerns. I would recommend this house in a heartbeat.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

I would highly recommend this lovely home to anyone wanting a desert getaway. It was all the owner advertised and more. It is located in a friendly neighborhood convenient to shopping and restaurants and backs up to a protected desert landscape which allows for morning walks or birdwatching and bunnywatching while having our morning coffee at poolside. We wish our vacay would last forever here. When we arrived we were met by the owner who answered our every question and gave us her local phone number in case more questions arose. All in all it's what you hope your vacation will be like.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
