Totally accurate re layout, amenities, etc. Didn't realize that the View, Was from the apartment's BALCONY, which is, without question a gorgeous look out. Owner very, very responsible with all questions and queries and with fast response, e-mail. Yes, would recommend to friends and all. We never worked out the T.V. system, but we are very un-techie!!!! And the view of the harbour, was our T.V.! Walking to Villefranche and Boulieu is fine, however, probably take a cab to Cap Ferrat, or wait for the very erratic bus!!!!! Train service to all else is fine. We chose not to have a car this time, which gave opportunity to see the local charm without rush. The Effrizi/Rothchild house and gardens, a 15 min. walk are to die for, views and the plan of these remarkable gardens.! Loved L'Oursin Bleu in Villefranche for their, out of the world, fish soup. And the Voile D'Or, Cap Ferrat, for their impeccable service and their utterly super Michelin cuisine. If you are a sailor, do check out Antibes and other such ports; the area is a port paradise... If you are a shopper, lots to find! We did a day in Vence and St. Paul, all lovely. Tennis courts a stone's throw from apt. We didn't play this time.

My wife and I (age 40) spent a great week in May in the apartment. Photos/desription all very accurate. Very quiet, clean, easy parking, a great access spot for visiting many sites/villages along the riviera. (we took car to nice, but train to monaco). Both easy. Owner was very helpful pre-visit, and all travel logistics/keys/payments went smooth. Endless great dinner options between villefranche, beaulieu, and cap ferrat, although nothing is within 15 minutes walk. Our favourite local attractions were Plage Passable, the hike around St-Jean, and morning coffee/afternoon aperitif on the great terrace.

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful week in this lovely semi- waterfront apartment situated in what I would consider to be the best location on the Riviera. Views from the large patio are stunning, with cruise ships anchored in the bay an almost daily feature. The suite itself is very nicely done, with everything that one could want provided for you. The building is very quiet, well maintained, and has a unique, almost ship like design. The owner was very helpful at all stages of our rental, including immediate response to an Email question we had upon arrival. We have visited this part of France five times in the past, and believe this to the very best location from which to explore the Riviera. We had a car (parking was never a problem at the apartment) and took the opportunity to visit Monaco, Eze, Antibes, and St. Paul de Vence, but there is much to do on Cap Ferrat itself - lunch on Paloma Beach, three outstanding seaside walks, and two world class museum villas are all within walking distance. I believe it would be possible (and somewhat less stressful) to stay here without a car, as train and bus service along the Riviera is very good). The apartment is not located in a village, but the shops and restaurants of Beaulieu Sur Mer are not far away - an easy 20 minute walk. I would give this apartment our highest recommendation.

We really enjoyed the location - easy to walk to close by towns, great views and the building was very quiet. Description of property is extremely accurate. Apartment is not big but great use of space and all furnishings and equipment are first class. Sliding doors onto patio provide lots of sunlight and spacious feeling. Appreciated the notes and recommendations provided by Normand who was extremely responsive to a small problem we experienced. Would certainly rent this property again.

We have just had a fantastic holiday staying in Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat. The view from the apartment is stunning and we could not wait each morning to open the shutters. The apartment is very nice, well equipped, and has lots of storage space. It is situated in an ideal place to explore the South of France. We relied on local transport throughout our holiday and could not fault it. We visited Beaulieu sur mer, Villefranche sur mer, Italy, Monaco, Menton, Eze, Nice and Cannes. We also walked alot exploring all the spectacular views and scenery along the way. What a wonderful part of the world! Hoping to return someday.

An obvious thought upon arrival: "I may never leave!". It is a fantastic place, a promise for the perfect vacation including culture, great cuisine, beach and sun. For urban dwellers snapped up by the hustle and bustle of life all year long, I thouroughly enjoyed the peace of the place: birds chriping and warbling at sunrise, delicious smells from the garden, exceptional view of the one of the most dramatic bays on the French Riviera. Small and great temptations are all at walking distance, sublimating the magic of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat. The stunning apartment is very comfortable and exquisitely decorated by the owner who gave us a thoughtful welcome and shared delighfully his endless passion for the Nice region. His invaluable recommendations would meet the most exacting guest's expectations. In a word: "There all is order, naught amiss: Comfort and beauty, calm and bliss".

You couldn't ask for a lovelier place to spend a holiday. The apartment is beautifully equipped, pristine, peaceful and wonderfully situated. From the terrace, with its lounge chairs and table, you look out directly onto the water. Great public transportation at your doorstep to Nice, St Jean Cap Ferrat (city), Villefranche and Monaco. But there's plenty to see within walking distance. Highly recommend!

It is simply the best, for those who love walks and the sea and swimming. Simple but quality and so close to everything, car not necessary. Heaps of info from owner who was extremely helpful, goes that extra yard. Cant wait to get back so really dont want to rave too much or it will be always full.

The apartment is beautiful and totally renovated!! It's very quite, close to the sea and has a beautiful view. The interior design is elegant, all equipments and furniture are new and very high standard. We have been one month with our children and enjoyed it a lot. In few minutes walking you arrive to the most beautiful beach in Cap Ferrat, bus station is nearby, and by car you can reach in 10-15 minutes other great places. The owner is a gentleman, always available to help with whatever missing in the apartment and provide great advices. We have found it very clean at our arrival. We strongly recommend to spend vacation in the apartment and surely we will use again anytime we are in Cap Ferrat

We have long regarded St. Jean Cap Ferrat as the most idyllic spot in the South of France and in this flat we have found the perfect base for our holiday there. The other reviewers have spoken of the brilliant location, superb fixtures and fittings, and the delightful owner of the flat. We agree with all the praise, regarding it as a very genuine description of what awaits the happy visitor staying in Normand's flat. The joy of al fresco meals on the balcony overlooking the harbour with super-yachts bobbing on the water is a cherished souvenir of our stay. Spectacular views never fail to please and the setting is tranquil. Just across the road is a path leading down to the small charming beach. It is all so convenient and easy and civilized. We had a rental car which we were always able to park just at the rear of the building. A five minute drive into Beaulieu brought us to the Super U supermarket which was an absolute cook's adventure playground. The charcuterie, meats, fish and wine were superb. Prices were very reasonable and the staff smiling and friendly. There is a market in the town square which has fabulous fruit and vegeatables. Round off the outing with a fabulous cappachino at the Grand Cafe just opposite. At the Port at Beaulieu and the Port at St. Jean Cap Ferrat there are myriad restaurants at all price ranges. One can have a cheery bistro meal or a superb gourmet experience - there is something to please every taste, every purse. The possibilities are endless. Normand has paid great attention to every detail of the flat. The result is elegant but unfussy. It is supremely comfortable and absolutely immaculate. We truly relished every moment of our stay and since returning home have been consulting our diaries to see when we can schedule our next visit. Cap Ferrat is the chicest of all spots on the Riviera. In this flat we have found paradise. It is simply the best value for the most pleasure. Bliss!

Having stayed in many places around the Med from Spain to Italy, including Malta and Tunisia over several years, this location on St-Jean-Cap-Ferrat is really the best I have visited. Cap-Ferrat is a very special place and, staying here, allowed me to enjoy it, almost as a resident. The location of the apartment is ideal overlooking its own bay to Villefranche with anchored cruise boats, private sailboats and power boats. In fact, just across the street is a pathway and stairs down to an almost-private beach. I was pleasantly surprised to discover I had no need for a rental car here as the apartment is no more than a 15 min walk into Beaulieu for groceries and other shopping or to Villefranche. City bus and train service can be easily and pleasantly used. The owner has recently completed a major renovation on this property. He has achieved incredible use of space - a real pied a terre or "pied dans l' eau." His description of it is very modest, indeed. The amenities here for your use are outstanding - absolutely the latest fully-equipped kitchen, bathroom (frameless shower with rain shower feature) - bed linens and towels are top quality - laundry - including dryer! - and it is air-conditioned. A terrace with marble table and chairs and lounge chairs and remote-controled striped awning complete the private outdoor space. The building itself is a period classic built in the 50's - wait until you see the staircase! There is an elevator, too. It is in a quietly exclusive residential area. I have no hesitation in recommending this listing to anyone looking for an special holiday place for a completely carefree holiday.

Three words to sum up about St.Jean Cap Ferrat.....Location, Location, Location!!! Cap-Ferrat has to be one of the most beautiful and exclusive areas of the French Riviera with mult-million dollar Villas dotting the Peninsula. Residences over the century have included names like the Rothchilds to currently Paul Allen, co-founder of Microsoft who also had his yacht in the harbor while we were there. Everything is within walking distance....to being able to recline under an umbrella and have lunch served. Very peaceful and quiet after a wonderful visit to Paris. You are within 15 minutes of Monte Carlo, Nice and the beauty of Eze. Cannes is 45 minutes away or 15 minutes by train. The train is within a short distance away from the apartment. Each morning we would wake up in bed and look out at the blue waters of the Mediterranean. It was like a postcard! We would have breakfast on the balcony and look at the cruise ships anchoring in the bay. The apartment was wonderful and state of the art. It is newly remodeled with the latest and greatest appliances in the kitchen. The bathroom was large with a large shower with two shower heads. The linens , bedding and towels were the finest. There is a wonderful flat screen TV. The washer and dryer were top of the line too. The owner, Normand is a wonderful host. He gave us helpful hints on where to go and what to do. If we had any questions, he would readily answer our questions above and beyond. In fact, Normand was the best part of the trip and we can't wait to come back next year for our next wedding anniversary. It was a vacation to remember and we can't repeat enough on how wonderful the apartment and location is. We consider Normand and his apartment a true new friend and "find" indeed! Sincerely, Rick & Trish Morse from California
