  Two weeks at the beach!! That was our dream come true, and "I'm Ocean Front" far exceeded our expectations. From its fully equipped, gormet kitchen--to its living room's big screen entertainment center (now with Netflix!!)--to the spacious front porch overlooking the Atlantic, the whole experience was first class. Even the mattresses are firm and comfortable. We WILL be back. We've stayed in 4 different homes at Holden Beach, and found "I'm Ocean Front" to be the best of the lot. Reasonably priced, located overlooking a less crowded, almost private sectoin of the beach, and conveniently situated to shopping and food: what's not to like? "I'm Ocean Front" is exactly one mile from the Holden Beach bridge, thus a short drive to area restaurants. Although this is not a food review, we'd highly recommend The Provision Company for simple, but good food served in an interesting atmosphere. But the best restaurant of all those we tried is the Inlet View in Shallotte. Words are not sufficient to describe the quality of their seafood.

  We have rented thru VRBO several times for Holden Beach and this was by far the BEST house that we have rented so far. Everything was wonderful...the kitchen, the family room, the porch, the view ..it was perfect!

  We had a great time at Holden Beach and was very happy with our rental. The house was clean and well maintained inside and out and provided a comfortable place to enjoy the beach. The walk to the beach is minimal so it was easy access and not too crowded on the water. We were fortunate to be there when a nest of sea turtles hatched so we got to see that right in front of our rental on the beach. The beach is beautiful for as far as the eye can see, amazing to sit on the front and watch waves and listen to the sound of the ocean. The game room was great for the kids to have a place to play and get away from us adults for a little while. We were there during a very hot week but the air down there had a hard time keeping the room cool enough, that's our only negative for the week. We would definitely come back to I'm Ocean Front!

  House was wonderful. The owner anticipated every need. The house was lovely and very clean. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. It was very convenient walk to the beach. Loved the fact that all was on one floor with limited steps... We just loved the Main Street Grill & Rotisserie for dinner. It has fantastic Ribs and seafood. Would highly reccommend.

  We arrived at I'm Ocean Front the day after hurricane Irene just missed Holden Beach. We highly recommend this outstanding beach home with a terrific view of the Ocean. The beach house is located away from the hustle and bustle yet close to excellent restaurants near the beach. Bev Slagle, the owner has seen to every need for a beach vacation.We had a wonderful week and enjoyed the front porch and the downstairs game and tv room. We want to return next year.

  The house is adorable and very comfortable. The location is fantastic and the beach is beautiful. The owner couldn't have been easier to deal with and we enjoyed the entire experience immensely. Can't wait to come back!

  Our family visits Holden Beach every year and we stay at I'm Oceanfront! We love the fresh and open floorplan and the vibrant decor! It is a place with all the ammenities of home with the added ocean to feast on right before your eyes! We do LOVE being able to cross the stile and be right on the beach. We walk along the beach every morning and enjoy the beauty, rich sounds of the waves and letting our worn bodies and minds find REST. Plunging an umbrella into the sand, we READ our favorite novels and can peek back at our cheerful house as our dinner marinates. So EASY!

  We just had 2 great weeks at "I'm Oceanfront". This is our 4th year, but the first time I've had a chance to write a review. Each year improvements have been made to it to make it a more desirable house. The property is well kept up and the owner is personable and terrific to work with. It is better even than the pictures on the web-site. A lot of planning and thoughtfulness has gone into this house, especially in the last 2 years. The kitchen items are plentiful and you have the equipment to cook anything you might want to do. There are lots of books, dvds, and even a couple of jigsaw puzzles to work. Instructions for how to use the entertainment equipment are easy to follow. Everything works in the house and if you have a problem (which we created with the stove this time) someone comes over soon to address it. There is even an outside shower to wash off the sand after your stroll. The location is ideal in that you are so close to the beach (just over the dune) and it is on the end of the beach that has less people. We have always come in June or July and the beach has never been crowded. My sister and I love to look for shells and they are always plentiful depending on mother natures gifts each day. I highly recommend this property with one caveat = don't ask for it on the weeks we want to come!! Enjoy!!

  This beach house was great!!! All the rooms were comfortable. The kids loved the room with two sets of bunk beds. All the children (4 of them) slept in one room, how fabulous! The kitchen/den was well stocked and very open to allow two families to be comfortable and spacious. The view of the beach was stunning from the front porch. About the owner, she was so personal and willing to make everything perfect. She communicated very well through e-mail and this was so helpful. Upon arrival the air conditioner in basement was not hooked up. The owner sent a handyman out right away to hook it up for us. This basement was primarily for the children since it had table tennis, games, cards, fuse ball ect. Our kids loved it. We are counting the days down to our next return!! Thank you Bev.
