  The house actually looks a lot better in person than in the pictures. It has very open space in the living room and the dining room has windows all around. We all enjoyed the sunlight that came through the windows, especially in the cold weather. I came with about 10 other friends and we all enjoyed the house as a whole. Considering the weather was not as pleasant as we anticipated we spent a lot of our time there. We had plenty of room to lounge, cook, hang out and sleep. I definitely would rent from this owner again, especially to check out the pool and lake that is very close to the house.

  My entire family rented several houses in the Hideout to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday. My sister's family, my mom, and my family all stayed in this house. It was plenty roomy for all of us, easily housing 5 adults and 5 kids. First, the mudroom was a great staging location for wet boots, shovels and coats, as we were there during snowy weather. The large tv was a hit, allowing everyone a view, as was the free wi fi, keeping everyone connected. The dishwasher was very nice and was able to keep pace with our large shared meals, which were eaten in the spacious sunroom. 19 of us were able to fit around the table and it was nice to have a pass through to the kitchen and enjoy the beautiful backyard view. The basement game room was another big hit, as everyone took turns playing ping pong and pool. Finally, the owners were very helpful to us during our stay, arranging for the driveway to be plowed so we could get out to enjoy the fantastic rec center, which we rented for the afternoon. Unfortunately, the ski slope was closed, but that would have been a very convenient walk or ride.

  The place is exactly like in the photos. It is a very peaceful and clean house. The host communicated promptly and everything went smoothly. We had a great time staying here for our trip!

  This Property provided perfect accommodations for our family group(10). We were looking for a Fall getaway that would work for people in their 70s, 40s and teens. We saw deer every day so close you could have feed them from your hand. Of course, we would never do this! This house has the feeling of home with the right combination of rustic and modern conveniences. We will be back. J. and M. T. Delray Beach, FL

  This house was exactly as described. Owner was quick to respond to a few questions that we had. Easy transaction for the rental agreement. We loved eating our meals in the sunroom. Kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans needed to prepare meals. We could see many deer, muscrats (we think they were muscrats lol) and wild turkey walking around. The kids got a big kick out of watching them! Beds were very comfortable. Master bedroom had a lovely 4 poster bed and a cute balcony. House was very clean. My son loved the basement with the pool table, ping pong, foosball and darts. Close to Claws and Paws animal zoo. We took a 30-40 min. drive to Scranton for a coal mine tour and Steamtown. We enjoyed the community beach on the lake as well as the pool. My husband and son walked from the house to Deerfield Lake to do some fishing (catch and release) and caught a fairly good size bass! We would definitely rent this house again. Good food at Trio's and Backdraft restaurants, both a short drive from the house! We were sad to go when the week was up!

  Wonderful house for the entire family! House is in excellent condition. Plenty of room. Beautiful views. Deer visit daily. Squirrels and chipmunks playing constantly. Very quiet, relaxing. Grille works great. Large sturdy deck. Vaulted ceilings, balcony. Just perfect. Plenty of entertainment for kids (pool table, ping pong, ice air hockey). We plan to make many future trips and stay at this same property. The renters are super friendly and make the rental process a breeze. I highly recommend this property

  We had a girl's weekend at Tatyanna's home. It was a positive experience dealing with Tatyanna. The property is true to the pictures. Right next to the community ski slope, very quiet and calm. The home is very clean and comfortable and we enjoyed our stay there. The only reccomendations I would make would be to put more seating in the living room area so more people can congregate comfortably and to leave instructions for the water and fireplace. Thanks for everything Tatyanna.

  Owner response: I appreciate your response. However I do want to point out that instructions for fireplace use are inside of the fireplace where the controls are. As far as the water, I don't really anticipate the shut off so I don't want to leave instructions in order to prevent unnecessary tampering with the water heater.   Our family had a great time over the long President's weekend. The location to the local ski mountain really worked out for us so we could come and go as we wanted. Plenty of space for all of us and our dogs loved the back yard. We would definitely come back next year!

  My church gathered young fathers to have retreat and spend one night at this place. Nine of us had plenty of space to go around and seat around. Pool table in the basement was a good for spending quite a few hours of quality time. The owner was also something to remember that she was very kind and patient to explain the fist-time-house renter. This house has a nice neighbor to walk around. There is a small ski and tubing ramp great for kids and learner. There is also a lake with canoe rental. Good to go in winter and good to go in SPRING, SUMMER AND FALL.....basically all year long. I will not hesitate to come back to this place. And I will surely recommand to my friends to have a cozy get away trip.

  We surprised my daughter for Christmas with a skiing trip and she said it was the best gift ever! We left the Tuesday after Christmas and stayed through Friday. The house was immaculate and very well equipped. The location was prime for skiing!! We could see the ski lift from the living room. The hideout ski staff was absolutely wonderful too. We took some great photos of a sweet little deer family in the yard. A good time was had by all and we will definitely rent this house again!!
