There were 9 of us total and the house had plenty of room. The kitchen is very well stocked...perfect for our clan of gourmet cooks! The house was clean and comfortable and the large dining table was a must for this group. Excellent location right next to the beach. The beds were comfortable, albeit a bit squeeky...but that wouldn't stop me from renting this house again! Wonderful beach rental! I highly recommend it!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.
Owner response: Thank you so much for your lovely review. We appreciate your patronage and are delighted you enjoyed our home & had an awesome time in Seaside! Please come again soon!

Rented this for a great get away for three mothers with three 20-something daughters. Went wine tasting, walked the beach, and just hung out. Weather was fantastic and sunny in April. Thinking we should make this an annual event. Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful home with us!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Yay! A whole week vacation!! We've long know that renting a house is the perfect way to do a beach vacation and this is a great house for us - a family o f4 with 2 small kiddos. We were all super comfy here. :) Wish we had another week! Though we never quite figured out how to pour coffee without dribbling, that was the most of our worries. thanks for a real good time.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

Year Purchased: 1963
Why the Owner Chose Seaside:
This lovely home has been owned by our family for many, many years. Our parents moved here in 1963 to work for a logging company. They found it a wonderful place to raise their family. The picture is of our mother, Ruth, circa 1940ish. Ruth spent lots of time in Seaside as a youth. Her dad, Reggie, then bought some 'beach cabins' in about 1955 so his family could enjoy the beach more often.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
In just a few short minutes you can be on the spacious Seaside beach. It's a lovely place for soliloquy or socialization! There's no better place to walk, ride your bike or people watch than the 'Prom' in Seaside and every evening many people come out to view the sunset. The beach has plenty of logs & driftwood to make a bonfire & roast some 'tube steaks'. Many people enjoy clamming & crabbing here also. The charm of the house itself is intriguing & comfortable. Curl up on the sun porch for an cozy afternoon nap.
