  Our family of 11 had a wonderful time at the Moore Fun house. The grandchildren loved swimming in the pool and swinging in the small swings. The walk to the beach was not far at all. We appreciated the space and privacy that each family was able to enjoy. The washer and dryer came in handy. I would definitely recommend this vacation home. The owners went above and beyond what was expected.

  We came for a 6 night stay in the middle on July and it was amazing! The house, the pool, the location, the layout of the rooms. It worked great for us and we would love to come back and stay again when there is vancancy. Well recommended.

  We had the time of our lives during our week in your lovely home. We took our children and grandchildren to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary this year and made memories that will last forever. We enjoyed not only the beach, but parasailing, miniature golf, the aquarium, the water park, and of course shopping and the restaurants. Everything was perfect and we really enjoyed being able to seat all 10 of us around the table for meals.

  Real big house with plenty of room just to far back from the ocean for what it cost a good walk before you have access to get to the beach .. No problems except the water pressure was real low in all bath rooms and the heat pump located on the front side of the house made a awful noice for the two downstairs bedrooms and needs to be moved off the side of the house to a different location

  Owner response: Owner appreciates recommendation regarding noise and water pressure. Owner has already contacted Owner's contractor and requested both issues be remedied immediately. Owner disagrees with distance to ocean and concurs with other guest comment stating "walking to beach is a breeze" (see comment from 6/25/11, amongst others), especially since Owner walks to the beach with several young grandchildren in tow! Owner was disappointed to learn Guest burned iron imprint in carpet but appreciated Guest's honesty regarding the same. By way of update, Owner values all Guest comments, and as such, Owner moved air conditioning unit so no longer disturbance and Owner's contractor has remedied water pressure issue. It's another great peak season at the Moore Fun Beach House!

  My family and I enjoyed every minute of our Fall vacation at this beach house. This was the first time we have rented a house for all twelve of us! We loved the lay out of the house and it is beautifully decorated and so spacious, we felt right at home. We love to cook and we had all the utensils we needed in the kitchen, it was very well stocked. The house is in close walking distance to two great restaurants also. Missy was great to work with and we look forward to returning next year and making this an annual event for our family.

  I have stayed at a few different rental homes in Surfside Beach and this is by far the nicest one yet. The pictures do not do it justice! Absolutely beautifully decorated and makes you feel like your in a home opposed to a rental. So close to the beach and nearby restaurants River City Cafe (fantastic burgers) & Bubba's Fish Shack (loved the oysters & friendly service). We couldn't have asked for more and definitely will rent again. I highly recommend, you won't be disappointed!

  This house is absolutely WONDERFUL! The pictures looked great online, but the house is so much better in person. Everything was very clean, neat, and well kept. The house is immaculate and very tastefully decorated & comfortable. It is a very short walk to the beach, and the private pool was great - especially with 3 kids under 8. The balconies overlooking the pool were great for the adults who wanted to keep an eye on the fun without being in the splash zone! :) The pool was cleaned at least twice while we were there and was very clean. The pool chairs are also in great shape and are very comfortable. This is the first time we've ever stayed anywhere without having issues finding places to sit during meals! The huge dining room table & 3 bar stools gave us just enough room without anyone being crowded. The table was also great for playing games at night! The kitchen was also very well equipped and the griddle came in very handy on a daily basis! There was also plenty of parking for our 5 cars with families coming from 3 different states. I would recommend this house to everyone. We hope to continue to rent this same house for years to come as we're all sure no others could compare! Missy was great to deal with and called to make sure we had everything we needed. The georgeous family pictures throughout the house inspired us to have pictures taken while we were there (we used Coastal Studios). The house is right down the street from several restaurants/bars, a small Eagles shop, and the peir. There is also a great little ice cream shop that came in very hand with the kids! Sara J's is a wonderful seafood restaurant that is just a down the road in Garden City. All 13 of us LOVED "Moore Fun" and none of us had any complaints (which is really not a normal thing for our family)! :) Thank you for allowing us to use your beautiful house and for making our 2011 beach vacation the best one yet!

  From the moment we arrived at Moore Fun Beach House we knew we'd made the right choice. The home is beautifully decorated and scrupulously clean! There are gorgeous pictures of the owner's family throughout the house - such a nice family! Missy called shortly after we arrived to make sure we found everything to be satisfactory. They even had a goody basket waiting for us! It made us feel like we were staying with family instead of renting. The house is nicely laid out with large bedrooms and baths as well as walk-in closets. While our kids were older, I'm sure many would appreciate all the safety features in place for families with babies and small children. The pool was expertly maintained and the grounds were clean and well-manicured. The walk to the beach is very short, and there are fantastic restaurants within walking distance too. The kids loved fishing at the pier and shopping at the nearby stores. If we could go again this year, you bet we would! Don't pass up on Moore Fun - it's More Better!!!

  Great location, close to Surfside Pier. House accommodated 10 adults with no problems. Well equipped and furnished. A good value! Owners were easy to deal with and very communicative. We'll be back.

  We stayed at the Moore Fun House for a week with our family of thirteen. This house is located in a great area and walking to the beach is a breeze. The pictures posted on VRBO described the house perfectly. We loved the spacious den and had plenty of room for thirteen to eat in the dining/kitchen area comfortably. The beds were comfortable as well. The house was very very clean and also the property. The pool was cleaned three times while we were there...excellent. The owner even called the day we arrived, making sure of our arrival and if we needed ANYTHING to just let her know. I would recommend this property to my extended family and friends. In fact, we want to go back to the Moore Fun House next summer. We enjoyed the location of the Moore Fun House and all the close activities and restaurants. Of course, we love the beach and spend many hours "playing" on the beach with all the grandchildren. My son commented this was the BEST house we had stayed in at the beach. Thank you to the Moore Family for sharing their blessings at Surside Beach, South Carolina! Jack and Bess

  Wow! What a wonderful vacation! Your beach house was amazing ~ it was better than described and everything was super. We would definitely do this again. The beach was close and the option of a private pool quite nice! The property was extremely clean and well-maintained and Missy made everything so easy! Missy was very prompt and helpful in answering our questions and we had no problems whatsoever. I would definitely recommend this beach property ~ it was lovely and nicely decorated. It is close to grocery stores, shopping, restaurants, with easy access to everything in Myrtle Beach! The kitchen was well stocked with everything one needs as well as a lovely big table to seat large family groups. Thank you for renting your beautiful beach house!

  Our extended family of 10 enjoyed a wonderful family vacation in Surfside Beach at the Moore Fun house in June 2011. The 10 of us - 6 adults and 4 children ages 4 and under - could not have asked for a better home to stay while in the Myrtle Beach area. The house was immaculate, laid out exactly as described in the VRBO description and pictures and was equipped with everything we needed. The rooms were spacious, the bathrooms clean and up-to-date and the living area/kitchen was large enough for us all to eat as well as large enough for us all to relax and let the children play. The swimming pool was the biggest hit for the kids (and adults as well!). It was very clean, maintained at least 3 times while we were there, and had a good mix of shade and sun. As an added benefit for those traveling with small children, this home was equppied with many safety features to make things "kid friendly." Adding even more to the house was its prime location. It was a very short walk to many places including the beach, a fishing pier, a couple of nice restaurants, a gift shop and an ice cream shop just to name a few. Being able to walk the kids to the beach in 5 minutes and be back home that quickly to either jump in the pool or cool off inside was invaluable. Finally, our stay was enhanced greatly by the warm, friendly, timely and very imformative communication with the owner. She was very helpful in detailing what we needed or didn't need to bring, recommended places to visit and even helped coordinate an early arrival with the housekeeper. Even while at the house, we talked a couple of times for further recommendations and even for the location of the electrical box when we tripped a circuit breaker! Each time, she responded back right away. As I said, overall we could not have asked for a better home. Not only would I recommend the Moore Fun house to friends and others, if we decide to make a return trip to Myrtle Beach/Surfside Beach, our first call will be to reserve this home again!

  Gorgeous! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed. Beautiful home, wonderful neighbors and a great seafood restaurant right around the corner. The beach is right across the street as well. We enjoyed the pool and the sun, but I think we enjoyed the house more. Lots of room! Bedrooms were great! Not cramped at all. If you need to rent a beach home, this would be the one to rent. And the owners were great! Easy to communicate with and very accomodating. Moore Fun is an understatement for this gorgeous home.

  We recently stayed at Moore Fun Beach Home and it exceeded our expectations in every way. This is the ultimate home away from home!! With all the different bedrooms this beach house is everything you need for large groups or families. It's very child friendly and had everything we needed. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a wonderful place to stay in Surfside Beach! The owners are so friendly and were more than willing to make a stay in there home an enjoyable one. Moore Fun was very clean and was even nicer than the pictures show and very close to the BEACH! Our friends and family will be going back to stay there often. In fact we are going to try to go back there before summers over. Thanks to the Moore's for a our wonderful vacation.

  What a wonderful week we spent at Moore Fun beach house! The house was large enough for our family of 12-and with 2 babies along we appreciated the high chair and baby gates blocking the stairs! The pool area was nice-the kids enjoyed the pool and the adults enjoyed the lounge chairs! The walk to the beach is a short 2 minutes-and what a wonderful beach it is! The owner contacted us when we arrived to make sure all was well-we had a small problem with the wireless internet and she had someone there to fix it immediately. We truly enjoyed our time there and would definitely consider returning again!
