Your Hosts, Matthew and Danny have lived in Hawaii for many years and love sharing the Jungle House. When we rent the house we stay in our Bed and Breakfast in Hilo (Hilo Bay Hale). That way you have the house to yourselves. And we are just a few minutes away if you need anything. We hope you will enjoy the eclectic jungle retreat we have created as much as we do! Be sure to enjoy the outdoor shower too and feel free to enjoy the fresh fruits and veggies from our organic garden.
Why the Owner Chose Pahoa

This charming farm house was an ideal place to stay when we were on the Big Island. We loved that we chose a farm; it made us feel like we living on the island and not just part of that cookie-cutter big resort experience. We explored so much of the island from here, the black sand beaches, the hot pools, Volcano National Park and more. If you really want a true Hawaiian experience, this jungle house is a great choice. Spent almost a week in the jungle house and felt home right from the beginning. The house is nice and clean (exactly like on the photos) and comes with its own Japanase character. Sitting on the veranda and listeining to the jungle sound is quite an experience!. The kitchen is fully equipped and áfter some hikes I found the washing machine/dryer of good use. Most importantly, both owners are super-friendly and they gave me the good experience to be a guest with gladly sharing theirs insight knowledge and tips.
