We welcome you to our summer beach home. We three siblings share this family home and have vacationed here for years with our children.
Our home is a classic upside-down style with a full garage on the ground floor and living area on the second floor and is located two short blocks from the beach and only one block from the main shopping/dining Dune Drive in Avalon. Since it is our home, it is furnished with everything you need to live comfortably and yet be on vacation. While the beach is only a 2 minute walk away, you may enjoy simply relaxing on the second floor deck that stretches the full width of the house. Half is roofed so you can escape from the sun and enjoy dinner on the deck in the shade.
The second floor is a ranch-style home with a large living/dining area, kitchen, laundry, bath, master bedroom with a queen bed and a separate bath, and two additional bedrooms, both with 2 twin beds; both of these may be put together to make a king, using the supplied king bedding. The garage is stocked with all sorts of bikes, boogie boards, beach chairs and beach toys. There is 4th bedroom on the ground floor equipped with bunks and twins to handle family overflow.
We provide paper, laundry, and cleaning products and some kitchen spices and cooking supplies. Wash away your beach sand in the outdoor shower. Avalon Beach is a limited access beach, but we provide 6 beach tags for our guests.
Painting, carpeting, tile, and furnishings were recently updated.
We have great neighbors/friends in this family community, so we ask that you keep noise levels and gatherings to a minimum.

Wow-perfect location. Close enough ( couple blocks ) to walk to all the town restaurants and event locations and still only a short two blocks to the beach. Looks like the owners have done the upgrades as previous review mentioned. All freshly painted and new carpeting. Really liked the large wrap-around deck for breakfast-lunch and sunbathing. Large two car garage and outside shower. Would stay again and reccommend.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children.

This was an affordable, family-friendly vacation home for our family of 5. Our kids loved being just 2 short blocks to the beach & boardwalk, and the ability to bike and roller-blade right out the front door. We loved the deck for relaxing in the evening or having picnic suppers. The spacious garage was great for storing bikes, strollers and beach chairs. And the outdoor shower is perfect for washing off beach sand!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children.

About the owner: Our property is a summer beach home owned by we three siblings which has been passed down through our family. We enjoy it ourselves each summer and love sharing it with our friends. We do maintenance and updating each year. It is stocked with bikes, toys, books, and games. We keep a basketball hoop in the driveway. Avalon is a great family community with wide, safe streets for biking or running, great recreation parks and playgrounds, a carefully patrolled beach, and a charming zoo and park just 15 minutes down the road. Sue, Brian, and Holly want to welcome you to a peaceful, relaxing beach get-away.
