Come to Montana to experience the Romance of the West. Our western syyle Carriage House Apartment offers an intimate, romantic hide-away in the charming Western town of Whitefish, MT. Set in the rugged Whitefish Mountain Range this one bedroom apartment has been been designed with your comfort and enjoyment in mind using high quality materials.
Relax on the leather sofa or recliner in the glow from the stone fireplace. Watch the game on the flat panel TV over the log mantle. Enjoy the view of Big Mountain from the dining area.
After a day of play in Whitefish luxuriate in the spa tub or shower in the walk-in slate tiled shower. Either way you will appreciate the beautiful bathroom and the radiant heat will keep your toes toasty. For your convenience there is a full sized washer and dryer in the bathroom closet.
At night slip into a deep sleep in the pillow-top queen sized bed with high quality bedding. Step out on the deck for some star gazing to check out Montana’s Big Sky.
Local woods, quarried stone and granite are used throughout this 700 square foot home. The living room has a stone fireplace with a log mantle and a great view of Big Mountain. There is a fully equipped kitchen with granite counters.
And what a location! Close to town; walking distance to great restaurants; a quick drive up the mountain for skiing; and in a quiet neighborhood that borders a nature preserve. So keep your eyes open and your binoculars handy for wildlife viewing.
A heated storage room for skis and equipment is on the premises.
You will love staying here and hate to leave!
Some detailed info:
The flooring is all responsibly harvested local fir and larch from the great folks at RBM Lumber. The fireplace stone is from McGreggor Lake, MT. The mantle was made locally by John Emerson whose family has been making log furniture for decades. Much of the furniture is from Old Hickory Furniture, not local but they have been making the finest lodge furniture for over 100 years.

We had such a lovely stay, and at such a spectacular value! Can't beat this place: clean linens, friendliness and breathtaking scenery all around. This is our first visit to Montana and your lovely apt. was the perfect home base for exploring the area. We loved the quietness, wildlife and all the nice amenities you provide. we took your suggestions for Glacier park hikes and enjoyed them both. --and the weather was perfect. We loved our stay at this beautiful very clean apartment. The location was perfect. We loved the town of Whitefish. We were lucky enough to be there on farmers market night. I was in awe of the beautiful produce this late in the year. The apartment was spacious and the perfect place to stay to end our vacation. I enjoyed having the washer dryer and the big tub to soak in.We enjoyed being able to cook a good breakfast and chill out our last day in Whitefish. The owners were very friendly and easy to rent from. I would return today if I could.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Words are insufficient to fully describe the serenity of this delightful place on the northern edge of Whitefish. Backing up to a nature preserve was yet another bonus providing not only ahhhh views, but an occasional deer or two as well. The apartment was sparkling clean, comfortable, exceptionally well-constructed, and larger than it appears in the photos. I had the chance to chat very briefly with the owners whose genuine warmth matched that of their place. Highly recommend this property for a slice of Heaven on earth!Did you find this review helpful? We absolutely enjoyed our stay here -- even beter than in the pictures! Everything is neat & clean and very well thought out. The quiet setting was exactly what we were looking for. We so appreciated Karen's hospitality (well, Richard's too of course) and while we plan on not having a honeymoon again (kind of a 1 time thing) we would recommend this place to anyone looking to have a peaceful & well-stocked "homebase" for their trip.
