“The Girls” who travel far and wide came to this charming house on a sunny welcoming day in Oregon. Welcoming interiors supplied with all the necessities for a delightful stay. Spectacular views from the house or down on the beach. Glimmering waves gently rolling to the sandy shore. Glistening, bending sea grass shimmering in the sun. We walked, talked, played in the friendly Waves House.

Nancy: Our stay at the Waves House finally comes to a close. I didn't know that 10 days could go so fast ! We have really enjoyed our stay here and appreciate how well you have equipped the house for your visitors. The kitchen is the best equipped I have ever seen for a rental and we have rented a lot of houses and condos over the years. In addition, the bed is excellent which made for restful sleep (no sagging or squeaking springs like we have suffered with at some other places). Again - thanks for your hospitality in providing such an outstanding house for rent.

We Loved It All!

We are packing up in the morning but hope to be back really soon. We love the OR coast and we love this house. We have two little girls 5 & 7 and their favorite part has been the hot tub. Everyday, we take a walk down to the beautiful ocean and then afterwards hop in the hot tub. We had plenty of rain and a couple of nice days. We planned for the weather and loved it all. The house has been all that we hoped, the windows were my favorite. Next was the large front room where we could all hang out, some in the kitchen for eating, for sitting and relaxing, yet we were all together. The fireplace added a perfect touch. If you sit on the couch looking out at the ocean, you’ll know why that seat is the most worn out. I spent hours there gazing out at the ocean while reading my book. We love the sky lights, the lighting in general, and two nice beds, even the hideabed couch isn’t too bad. The bay window in the back, the arm chairs - my husband naps in them. Thank you for a relaxing getaway trip.

Thank you for such a clean accommodation, that is important to us. We loved walking both at the beach and in the neighborhood--this is an ideal location, we almost walked all the way to Seal Rock on the beach, almost 7 miles! The kids loved having a fire on the beach, complete with smores! Now that’s living! The memories are forever etched in our minds, thanks to The Waves House and the entire Bayshore Estates area--I am glad we discovered it.

This is the ultimate kid-friendly home! From the stroller, high chair, porta-crib down to the many toys, games, videos, and books, books, books, it has been one of the best vacations we have ever had. We spent our honeymoon here at The Waves House and everything about the house, the whole area, and the beach exceeded our expectations. It was even better than the photos online. We appreciate the hot tub with the bathrobes, espresso machine (!) and the views of the ocean a lot. Thank you for telling us about the 1% lodging tax if you rent from an owner (vs. 7% from a property management company)!! Hopefully, we will have our first anniversary at The Waves House next year!
