  6 Women, 3 night weekend stay May 2013. very nice for everyone to have their own room! Warning, don't pack one heavy suitcase, bring two lighter bags, for easier carrying your luggage up the steps. Nice roomy porch to hang out on, nice big dining room table for eating or game playing. I think this would be a fantastic place in summer, you are steps to the beach. bedrooms have the newer wall a/c units so everyone can set their own temperature level. Lots of eateries within walking distance. Went to the new West End shopping area, nice change from the "mall", which we've done a million times. Owner is super to work with, plus he uses a local realtor, so you really get best of both worlds when renting through him.

  There were 6 of us looking to get away for a fun and relaxing weekend - we could not have picked a better town or house to stay at! House was awesome with attention to details everywhere. A perfect blend of Cape May historic charm with all of the modern conveniences you want. And so clean!! Roomy enough for all of us to have our own space, plenty of room to gather as well. And we were able walk to just about everywhere we wanted to go in Cape May. We loved Washington Square mall for shopping and eating. Uncle Bills for breakfast and Cabanas for drinks and appys while looking out at the ocean were favs. Cape May Brewery is worth the short drive on the outskirts of town for the beer drinkers in your group. The owner could not have been more accommodating and was available at any time to answer our questions. Thanks so much Blair - we can't wait to return!

  Nine college friends gathered for the weekend. The house is just beautifully appointed with great amenities. We had a fabulous time. It is a great location with easy access to everything. I highly recommend this rental for anytime of the year. Kudos to the owners for thinking of everything!

  This was a perfect house for my wife and me to spend a long Easter weekend with our extended family including 4 young grandchildren. Easter Sunday was a little damp so we had two Easter egg hunts inside the house. Lots of places to hide them - hope we found them all! We had a blast. This is a warm, comfortable home that is exceptionally well located within walking distance to everything we wanted. The house is very well equipped with a lot of extras we didn't expect like some beach toys for the kids and even a few extra sheets and beach towels in case we needed them. Since we were the first renters of the season there were a few minor hiccups but all were handled quickly by the rental agent. It was also a true pleasure to deal with Blair, the owner. We hope to be able to return again. It was just what we hoped it would be.

  We have stayed at this location for 2 years now and could not be happier. The house is clean and well stocked, close to the beach, and the shops, but still quiet enough to find respite. Large enough to accomodate the entire family, we even shared a holiday meal there together. We are hopeful to return for many years.

  The house was better than we expected! BEAUTIFUL renovations! Nothing was done CHEAP! The house has everything you need. Great kitchen, Good AC in every room. The Owner is a gentleman and always responded promptly to any questions etc. We had 8 people and had plenty of room for more. I would stay here again if I was coming back to Cape may!

  Rented this property for an annual get-together with 12 old friends - singles and couples. Every guest loved the house and the beautiful, pristine town, The amenities and the location of the house were superb. Loved making dinner and breakfast together in the very well equipped kitchen and dining room. Able to walk almost everywhere we wanted to go. All enjoyed a glass of wine on the porch with the view of the waves rolling in. Special highlight was a trip to the Cape May zoo which we thought would be an hour stroll but kept us busy for far longer - we highly recommend this first class place for adults. (And the kids we saw looked very happy too.) Shopping district (again walking distance) was a lovely pedesterian mall with more variety then normal in a tourist area. Special thanks to the home owner (Blair) and realtor (Ed) for helping us make this all possible. Can't wait to return.

  There are not enough good things to say about this beautiful home. The minute you walk through the front door one can sense the warm & welcoming atmosphere it exudes. Attention has been paid to every detail of the updates that have modernized key areas without compromising the homes Victorian charm. Sitting in the porch rockers listening to the ocean, gathering around the family size dining table, or walking the half block to the ocean are only a few of the many amenities this home offers. The owner makes every effort to insure you enjoy your stay; from the welcome book that explains every detail of the house to the recommendations for eating out & enjoying Cape May. That is no surprise if you have ever contacted the owner, he is nothing but helpful & accomadating. When I first saw this home I was pretty sure it was the right place for our family reunion & I was not disappointed. The house was all I expected and more. If you love Victorian charm with a modern flair then this is definitely the house for you. All of our friends & family that visited truly fell in love with this home. I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking to stay in Cape May & look forward to our return.

  Our stay at 17 Jefferson St., Cape May was awesome! It was everything the ad promised. Up grades are top shelf. Location to beach, perfect. Owners show warm regards for renters as evidenced in the up keep of the property. Highly recommed this rental.

  Our extended family of 11 loved the location and accommodations. Well-restored house, excellent individually-controlled AC in bedrooms, comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen, and all the "little" things that make for an excellent shore stay. The house could use a half-bath on the main floor.
