Our location is perhaps our best kept secret. Come see and you will surely agree. We have a four season property. We have the OOOHHH factor during these four seasons that makes you enjoy the beauty around you. Light the fireplace and enjoy, walk in the crunching snow sometimes in winter, enjoy the wildflowers in spring and play in the water in the summer.
We have a Non-Smoking, 500 +/- square foot cabin with a side stairs walk up to a stone covered porch on the montains side and creek in front for fishing and playing in the cool water in the front yard, full bath, fireplace, sleeping alcove with bed, queen sleeper sofa, and separate washer and dryer room. The front overlooks a landscaped fish pond with trout; waterfall and noisy trout stream/river. Put your feet in the cold mountain water of this creek and you will try it again and again. If you are looking for tranquillity, beauty, hiking, wildflowers, nature, fresh air, beautiful leaf color, and snow in the winter the you must come join us.
This home is VERY PRIVATE with acreage and has a long drive way coming into property and yes we are at the waters edge, not across or down from the water. Walk out and wet your hook if you so desire or your big toe. We own both sides of the creek for 500 ft. on each side.
You can also visit Harrahs Casino in Cherokee, many gift shops and vista points. Visit Fontana Dam and see our Lake Santeetlah, Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest, vistas from the Cherohala Skyway, whitewater raft, see Cades Cove in the Smoky Mountain National Park, and/or Dollywood. All these and more are at your beckon call and or just lay out by the old trout stream with that good novel, and or write that novel. Bring your ATV and go riding, or hike to your heart's content. Just enjoy nature at it's best.
Motor Bikers welcome. Come ride the "Dragon" @ Deals Gap and the Cherohala Skyway. Other beautiful rides are near. We have a garage /cover to park your bike's.
Home has TV/vcr, complete laundry room, stocked kitchen, with micro,
all linens are furnished. Games for the whole family are in the unit. Home has Central Heating & Air and a wood burning fireplace, with local and USA long distance phone service for our guests.
