Just 10 minutes from Snow Valley Ski Resort this cabin is conveniently located off hwy 18 close to shops and restaurants. Recently upgraded and beautifully decorated, this 1800 sq ft home is located in a quiet neighborhood and has all the amenities you'd expect from a vacation rental to guarantee an enjoyable stay! The large kitchen and connected family room look out to the deck and forest of Pine and Oak trees surrounding the property. Two bedrooms and one bathroom on each level makes this two-level floor plan a perfect two-family rental. Upstairs one queen and one double, downstairs one queen and a trundle bed which opens to one king or two twins. A sofa bed in the family room for added guests.
During your stay take a walk in the fresh pine-filled air or cuddle up under a warm blanket next to a toasty fire while drinking a cup of hot cocoa. At sunset, enjoy a glass of wine and listen to the Blue Jays sing while relaxing on the huge wrap around deck. Kids can play safely in the enclosed backyard while adults observe from the deck above. To add to the fun, your kids can bring their sleeping bags and favorite pillows for a 'sleep over' in the well maintained attic or they can watch a DVD or play video games in the family room on the main level.
Just a 15 minute ride up from the base of the mountain, Running Springs is the 'gateway' to surrounding destinations. 15 minutes West to Lake Arrowhead, 20 minutes East to Big Bear this location is perfect for an all around great time. Snow Valley Ski Resort is a short 7 miles from the cabin just East of downtown Running Springs.

We had a great time in this Running Springs Cabin. We had a special occasion that our whole family was celebrating. All 11 of us. We had ages 6-88 and all enjoyed their stay. Beautiful fire, plenty of private sleeping areas, great working kitchen and great weather. We had such an easy time with booking this too, that's always a plus for me. We would recommend this to other travelers looking for a large house.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children.

Perfect Holiday Vacation!! When we first contacted the owner about renting the cabin I had to ask that we have extra people come with us because of the Thanksgiving holiday and the owners were amazing!! Communication with the owner is in perect timing. When we arrived at the cabin it surpassed my expectations. The cabin is warm and cozy with plenty of space for 2 families. We were able to take the downstairs for my husband and I and our children while the upstairs rooms were planey spacious for my sister in law and their family. We had our Thanksgiving dinner at the cabin and had plenty of pots and pans to cook dinner and plenty of dishes and silverware to enjoy it. All you need to bring is your clothes and food and everything else you need to enjoy your time away is provided. We were able to relax and enjoy the peace and our coffee out on the deck while the kids played safetly in the fenced in backyard. My kids also enjoyed the video games downstairs and spent much time there. We can't wait to stay again... Thank you for helping to make our Thanksgiving holiday a special one with many memories.Owner response: It's always nice to hear that our guests enjoy our home! Our group was of 10 softball parents. It was great to escape the bustle of the city to an area that reminded us of home. This home was perfect. It did not feel like there were 10 people in it. plenty of activities and a quaint little village down the street. The house was equiped with everything we needed. The owners were great to deal with and were very reachable by phone. The whole experience was tremendous. Would definitely stay there again and again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

The cabin was exactly what I was looking for. Plenty of space along with the 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a nice deck for sitting outside and relaxing. Very close to the Snow Valley Ski Resort and in a small community with a couple of decent restaurants and stores. Had one issue which was somewhat resolved by property owner while we were there, but still needs attention. Overall this is a 4 out of 5 star place.Owner response: We are pleased that our guests enjoyed the home as much as we do. It is very relaxing and a great escape from the hustle & bustle of city life. The issue our guest refers to was an oversight on our part but was handled by our very helpful and attentive property manager!

My family and I recently spent the weekend in the cabin and did not want to go home!! The cabin is beautiful! It is spacious and comfortable. The area is great for walking and running (for my husband)! My son and his friend had a blast in the attic/loft which is not your average loft - it is very big! They keep it up very well. We barbecued and were able to listen to "nature" and not the hustle and bustle of our daily lives. It is close to Lake Arrowhead and surrounding mountain areas and not to mention the town of Running Springs is very quaint. Additionally, it has a Catholic Church right across the highway (which is important for us!) It was a fantastic get-away and we CANNOT WAIT to go back!Recommended for: Families with young children, girls getaway.

The place was accurately listed, with the exception of some backyard construction and a couple of barely functioning bathroom doors, but our group had no complaints; the house was clean, It came well stocked, and we were able to relax and enjoy our stay. Unfortunately, a few days after returning home we were told that we had damaged the property... Everyone in the group had spent our last day at the house thoroughly cleaning the property and no one saw any of the claimed damage. I was sent two undated photos along with the news that our security deposit is being withheld until the repairs are done... I have to yet to see an invoice for repairs or any real proof that damage occurred during our stay, so I'm currently awaiting the outcome of this claim. I would recommend any property but this one to a friend or relative now that I'm aware of the potential for a negative experience when dealing with this particular landlord.Owner response: Dear interested guest, The damage our guest is referring to are burn marks found on our flooring & wood border which appear to be the result of a dropped cigarette butt. Or manager found this damage while cleaning the home following our guests departure. While removing the trash he found 2 bottles filled with cigarette butts. He his very thorough and made note that this damage was not visble prior to our guests stay. Unfortunately all evidence points to our belief that our guest or a person in her party was smoking in/on our property. The rental agreement/rules signed by our guest is very clear that there is to be no smoking in or on our property. We also have "No Smoking" signs posted inside and outside the home. These rules are necessary to protect the safety of our guests and to prevent fire damage to our property as well as neighboring properties. The damage will cost us approximately $150 to repair but we've decided to refund her deposit in full because the wood border needed to be replaced anyways and we always try to be fair with our guests. We've truly enjoyed all of our guests (with the exception of this experience) and will continue to share our beautiful home with those who respect the property of others. As for the construction, there is none. The downstairs masterbedroom patio needs upgrading but the upstairs deck off the main room is where our guests usualy hang out. The doors on the downstairs bathroom are the original doors but they can be easily closed and locked. We've never had complaints about this before!

We spent New Year's weekend in the cabin and it was a blast! It was perfectly comfortable and clean. We have two toddlers and they had a great time as well. The back deck off of the dining area was beautiful, the open floor plan was great for cooking and still being part of the group. Downstairs master was cozy! We will definitely come back!! Our family stayed at the cabin for Christmas this year and had such an amazing time! The cabin was very nice and had everything we needed in the kitchen for our big holiday dinner. It even had a nice Christmas tree set up for our gifts! It made for the perfect vacation spot and we look forward to spending another family trip here in the future. This home was perfect for our two family weekend in the snow. The yard was the perfect place for the kids to play and the loft was their special hideout. The kitchen was stocked wtih everything we needed so we hardly left the home at all. Thank you for a fabulous weekend!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

About the owner: Hello, my husband and I live in Corona, California. We have two teenage sons who enjoy activities such as snowboarding and boating.
Why the Owner Chose Running Springs:
We were looking for rental income property in the Murrieta/Corona area. During a day at Snow Valley Ski resort, we realized that Running Springs is a very good rental area because it is a commuter community and is reasonably priced. While we were upgrading property, family and friends convinced us to to offer the property as a vacation rental thus allowing our family to enjoy as well!
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
We really enjoy sitting on the deck in the morning or afternoon. Listening to the birds and enjoying the view of the trees while enjoying a cup of coffee is the best.
