Just returned from a lovely week in the Isle Verde neighborhood of San Juan. Working with Dell and staying at Dell's condo is easy and comfortable! The condo is well stocked with everything one needs for daily living, and the local Pueblo grocery store is an easy 10 min walk from the condo. All of the other stores/restaurants one would need (Walgreen's, rental cars, nice hotels with casinos) are within walking distance, and the condo is 1 minute from Isle Verde Avenue where you can catch several different city buses for 75c each way to visit Old San Juan or Condado -- if you don't rent a car. What's really nice is that this area of San Juan feels busy with tourists and residents -- and safe. Perhaps it was because spring break and the international baseball competition were both happening that we had more street noise than I had anticipated having in the evenings. We are not light sleepers, so we were able to keep the wonderful full length sliding windows open to catch the daily/nightly breeze - even though the noise from the beach bars and side street went on well into midnight or later. We noticed that the last few nights the noise had dissipated, and we were not sure if that was because there seemed to be more of a police presence -- or because the baseball competition ended (?) and/or some students were back in school. The condo has a side view of the ocean -- and faces directly another large condo just across the street. The street in which you enter the condo is the main street leading to this public beach -- very convenient, but also very busy. Overall, we loved the location, the breezes, and the easiness of having an attractive but not stuffy 'designer' condo. Would definitely return again! Two restaurant tips: El Alzambique which is on the first floor of the Raquet Club Condo building facing the beach has the BEST SIRLOIN BURGERS - bar none. Served for an extra 50 cents with the BEST ONION RINGS - bar none. Pair that meal for $9.00 (a steal) with a $7.00 mojito and a lively vibe, and you will be very happy. Another find is to do a happy hour in the magnificent lobby of the Ritz Carlton -- about 6 blocks from the hotel at the end of Isle Verde Ave -- fantastic mojito for $7.00 -- and then cross the street to have a Cuban/Puerto Rican dinner that is incredible (and reasonably priced) at METROPOL. Specials on the menu were in the $15.00 range and were outstanding! Visited each place twice!

Perfect location for beach, good food and friendly/fun bars. Clean condo, could use some minor repairs but we were very comfortable there and very appreciative of the beach accessories made available to us, as well as the beach towels. Would love to return someday and would be recommending this rental to friends.

My husband and I stayed here before our cruise. It was wonderful!! Fully funished and met our needs perfectly!! Close to shops and restaurants did not a car!! Would definitely stay here again

This stay was our second, which truly says it all! We went back!! And will go back again! The apartment is so very comfortable, the building is secure; the people are so warm snd friendly; the beach is right outside the building; everything we needed is within walking distance. I am checking my calendar and that of the resort so we can plan our next trip!!!!!

Unforgettable Experience

I stayed at this property at the beginning of January and had a truly wonderful experience. Not only is it a beautiful and cozy condo, but I always felt secure. This is a credit to the professionalism of the owner, as well as the staff at the building. I had a fabulous time in Isla Verde, as well as in Old San Juan, El Yunque, and Luquillo, which are all within a 30-40 minute drive. The location of the condo could not be more ideal in this regard. You truly can't beat being able to literally step out on the beach everyday. I can't wait to return!

Awesome condo

The condo was just as described and pictured, clean and well stocked with the essentials that you would need of-course excluding food and drinks. We really loved our stay and the beach is right at the front yard and waking up and going to sleep with the sound of the waves, priceless! Walgreen's, restaurants and Charlie's car rental just within walking distance. San Juan airport is literally a 5 minutes ride and about $15 by cab. Although there is no parking right outside the condo, you find secure, ample & cheap parking right across the street. Dell provided us with enough information and also because the condo had no problems, we did not have to contact him during our stay. I would recommend this condo to anyone and everyone - you will be very pleased. PR offers very many things to visit and see and we barely scratched the surface - went to Old San Juan, El Morro, hired a car and drove to the Observatory and Rain Forest (El Yunqen) and to Culebra for some kayaking and snorkeling. We will definitely rent this condo on our next visit. Thank you Dell!

Our stay on Isla Verde was amazing! The weather, neighborhood, dining options and variety of activities available to us were phenomenal! The condo was clean, spacious (for the two of us) and included all of the amenities of home. The people were also very friendly and helpful when needed. If you're not fluent in Spanish - no worries - just do like we did and download the "Google Translate" app to use when [occasionally] needed to interpret signs or conversation. While most people spoke English well, on occasion we encountered language barriers that were easily overcome via "Google Translate." Overall, it was an AMAZING experience and I definitely look forward to returning!

We stayed from Oct 6-Oct 13, 2012. First of all I must say that the owner is extremely professional. The apartment is great; very clean and stocked with everything you need. It is centrally located with great Restaurants, hotels, supermarket, drug store. I traveled with my 17 year old daughter who had a hard time coming back to NY. Thank you so much for sharing your amazing place with us!

I loved staying at this location as it was so close to the airport, the beach, shops, and restaurants. The photos reflect the property accuratly. The owner Dell was always available and offered suggestions as to must see sights. I would reccomend this property to anyone, as the only set back is the fact that the pool is only opened from 7am-7pm. must see sight include Old San Juan, El Morro, and one of the bio luminecent beaches!

I really enjoy my stay at your condo it was everything that was listed in Ad. Even with Storm Isaac it didnt stop us. I was a very nice location close enough for me to go visit family and go shopping to Plaza de Americas. Once again Dell thank you for renting this ondo for my birthday week I had one of the best birthday with my daughter & boyfriend I was surprise with breakfast on my birthday and got the IPad 3. I will be letting my familys and friends know about your place for rent. Also the security in the building was helpful when we had any questions also the tenants we met too. I already planning a long weekend get away. Once again I cant thank you enough Wepa a Boricua from the Bronx PS if you are only going to stay local in Isla Verde/Condado you dont need a car

I had a great experience staying in the condo. I arrived in Puerto Rico at 6am and was able to access the condo right away, which was incredibly helpful. The location of the condo was amazing; on the water, next to the large hotels and restaurants. It is walking to distance to everything in Isla Verde. There is a cute beach restaurant and bar on the ground level of the condo, which was very convenient. The condo itself is not brand new or grandiose, but it is fairly spacious for just 2 people and has fairly modern amenities. Dell has an abundant supply of beach items available for leisure including a beach volleyball, small boogy boards, and a paddle ball set. He was incredibly helpful, checked in on my stay, also provided me with a very comprehensive list of information about Puerto Rico including sights to see, schedules, and restaurants. I would 100% recommend this property!!!!

Perfect Location -- Convenience

This is the first time we used VRBO to find a vacation rental. We were a little apprehensive about the process but the way it worked out could not have been easier or any more convenient. The owner's descriptions and pictures are very accurate. He is extremely helpful and easy to get in touch with. He actually can provide a ton of information for you to help customize your vacation based on your personal interests. We stayed 7 days and took only two excursions. The 5 days in the area were perfect for on the beach relaxation and a lot of food. There are food vendors on the beach, so many restaurants within a short walk, pharmacies, great full service grocery store, etc. A car would be more trouble than it's worth for the entire time. I would suggest only renting if and when you make a daytrip. The building is secure, right on the beach and has 3 affordable bar/restaurants on the beach side. It is literally 5 minutes from the airport. Our flight arrived at the gate at 3pm and we were in the apartment, unpacked, swimsuits on and on the beach by 3:50pm. The apartment doesn't have a huge amount of frills but all necessities are there, including beach chairs, paddle ball, cooking necessities, linens, etc. Great beach access from the pool area and convenient bathrooms at the pool as well. Would definitely recommend a stay here if your vacation interests include fun, beach, sun and convenience.

My husband and I spent 10 glorious days at this beachfront condo. It was everything we expected. Clean, plenty of room, oceanfront, secure, and located in the most convenient and most beautiful beach area of Carolina. Bus stop is just around the corner, cabs are plentiful and easily found. No need for a car. This condo is also equipped with everything you need for the beach! Dell was extremely helpful and very accommodating! It was a pleasure renting from him. Thanks again Dell, we'll be back!

My husband & I spent a few days in Isla Verde, PR. We lived in PR in the past so we are very familiar with the location and I must say that this condo is on a great spot where you have the beach almost at your footsteps but yet you are walking distance to all the major hotel and casinos such as El San Juan & Intercontinental and many other restaurants on the strip. The condo itself is furnished appropiately and it is very nice. I will point out the bed is a platform bed and rather hard but I like it that way. Dell was always available by fone or email which is important should you have an emergency of some type !!! I am hoping to return soon. Dell - Thanks!!!

We spent three nights at this large, clean, and thoughtfully decorated one-bedroom condo. It's in a terrific location: steps from the ocean, restaurants, shopping, etc. The building is well-maintained, safe and even has a lending library! The owner was extremely easy to deal with and helpful. We can recommend this condo to everyone.

My wife and I had an excellent time in PR. Dell was correct, the condo is right on the beach. We were pleasantly surprised by the space we had in the unit. It had everything we needed. There was no need for a car either, all of the restaraunts and stores were within walking distance from the unit. We had never been to PR before and would definately go back. We were spoiled with the great weather, friendly people and the beautiful setting. Each night was a warm walk on the beach under a moonlit, bright sky. We highly recommend staying here. Our only complaint is that we had to leave after a week. Next time it will be for a longer stay!
