The new Marina Riviera Nayarit is an easy 10 minute walk along the beach and 5 more minutes will take you to the village of La Cruz where there are restaurants, evening entertainment, shopping and fresh fish markets.
The living room and master bedroom open directly onto a private beach facing patio where you can enjoy the beautiful sunrises. From your patio take a step down to your private pool and the beach. With the ocean at your front door explore tide pools and comb the beach. You can walk along the beach 10-15 minutes to La Cruz or during low tide walk 30 minutes to Bucerias. Downtown Puerto Vallarta is only 45 minutes away.
The master suite opens onto the poolside patio and the ocean beyond, and features a king sized bed and master ensuite bath with soaker tub and shower. Air conditioning as well as screens on the wall-to-wall windows allow for a comfortable night's sleep.
The second bedroom features a king sized bed while the third bedroom has twin beds, convertible to king bed. Two main bathrooms, both with marble showers are located just outside the bedroom doors. The second and third bedrooms open onto the landscaped front garden.
The home office located in the master bedroom offers COMPLIMENTARY high speed (wireless) internet access (bring your laptop), printer, phone and FAX service which will allow you to stay in touch as you relax at Casa Terra.
As well as two shaded eating areas on the pool deck--a shaded area tucked under the roof overhang, and a patio table with umbrella and chairs near the water--there is also a spacious dining area and a laundry room with full sized washer and dryer.
Comfortable outdoor furniture on the large, partially shaded poolside patio lends itself to a bit of daydreaming, a relaxing snooze or day of basking around the pool to work on your tan--or just settle back on one of the pool lounges with your favourite book and look up to watch the sea birds plunge into the bay for their next meal. For your outdoor enjoyment we provide QUALITY patio furniture, chaise lounges and pool floats, a picnic cooler and freezer packs, a beach umbrella as well as boogie boards. All this, plus beachfront and private pool!
After a day in paradise, casually walk the beach to one of the many fabulous restaurants in La Cruz or Bucerias for dinner, or whip up a gourmet meal in the fully equipped kitchen that is complete with cookware and utensils, a water purification system (bottled water is available for your convenience), full sized refrigerator, gas stove with oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster. And of course, no vacation home is complete without a blender and glasses for those frosty margaritas!
You might decide to fire up the new stainless steel gas barbeque and grill up a feast of freshly caught fish purchased that morning from a fisherman in La Cruz, from one of the fish stalls at the Marina or from one of the markets in Bucerias. Savour your meal with a fine chardonnay and dine poolside while you admire the evening sky with the lights of Bucerias and Puerto Vallarta twinkling across the bay. Midnight dip in the private pool, anyone?
After a busy day in paradise, you’ll want to relax on the comfy couch in the living room while you listen to the stereo and enjoy the view or watch the new 48” HD TV with English language satellite, DVD player, VCR and extensive DVD and video library.
Casa Terra is wheelchair accessible and as a non-smoking home, we invite you to smoke outside or on the patio only, please. A well behaved pet may be allowed--please inquire. A security guard is at the gated entrance 24 hours a day, and a security patrolman is on the beach in the evenings and throughout the night.

Why the Owner Chose Other Puerto Vallarta Properties
After spending several winters in the downtown area of Puerto Vallarta, I discovered the quaint little fishing village of La Cruz de Huanactaxtle (La Cruz) located just 20 minutes north of the Puerto Vallarta airport. I enjoy the peace and quite at Casa Terra, yet I am easily able to go to the hustle and bustle of downtown Puerto Vallarta--then come home and relax by my private pool. The best of both worlds!
The Unique Benefits at this Private Townhome
La Cruz is a wonderful, quaint little Mexican fishing village with friendly people, several very good restaurants, some evening entertainment and shopping. The town of Bucerias is a 5 to 8 minute drive or bus ride away where there are many very good restaurants, evening entertainment and shopping. Downtown Puerto Vallarta is an easy 45 minutes away. The new MEGA supermarket is 10 minutes south of the house, so no need to fight the traffing into downtown PV for groceries!
The new Marina Riviera Nayarit is an easy 10 minute walk along the beach from Casa Terra and I can enjoy the restaurants, evening entertainment and buy fresh fish from the fish markets at the Marina or in La Cruz. Boat charters are available for fishing, snorkeling or sightseeing tours around the Bay of Banderas. What's not to love!

All the information you provided to us prior to our arrival was wonderful. Then when we saw the house--well, what can I say but "WOW"! Good Morning, Marilyn: We just arrived home yesterday and wanted you to know what a wonderful vacation we had at Casa Terra!! Everything was just perfect. We were able to go on a Vallarta Adventures trip to Las Caletas, explored beaches in Punta De Mita, Sayulita, San Pancho and Bucerias, ate in some wonderful places including John and Carol's new restaurant, Arriba (twice!). We went horseback riding on the beach in Bucerias and spent many happy and relaxing days by the pool! Our daughter learned to swim during our time in La Cruz! She just loved spending hours on end in that pool! We want to thank you SO much for allowing us the opportunity to spend our vacation at the perfect place! We went into Puerto Vallarta just twice and were so happy that we had decided to stay in a smaller, less populated area and especially in the privacy of a personal home. We loved Gloria and we had Maria come over twice to give us massages and pedicures! All in all, it was a dream vacation and we will certainly be going back to Mexico and La Cruz again one day. Again, it has been wonderful working with you and we hope we have the opportunity to do so again in the future.

Hi Marilyn: Unfortunately, we had to come home. We had a wonderful three week holiday at Casa Terra and still were not ready to come home. As we had never been on a three week vacation before, I thought I would be ready to come home, but no, I could have stayed much longer. When we first got to Casa Terra and opened the door I looked at Pentti and said "It feels like we've come home and we hadn't left" (since last year). It is such a wonderful home. Everything was great. Gloria, the cleaning lady is wonderful and the house was spotless. We went out on a boat tour of the harbour which was one of the many highlights of our trip. The people from Gecko are great and I will definitely recommend them to anyone I talk to. I had left the car rental to the last, but they were able to come up with an older van for us and we fit right in--just like locals! We are already trying to plan a trip for next year. Thanks again.

Your home is GREAT! The little things like the boogie boards, picnic cooler, etc., make it like a "home away from home". We would like to thank Marilyn for the efficient way she handled arrangements. Our stay at Casa Terra was pure heaven. You have such an amazing Villa. Our vacation was one of the best I have had. We enjoyed relaxing and reading around the pool, walking to both Bucerias and La Cruz, and most of all the food and drinks!! Everything about our stay was just fabulous and I cant say enough about how truly wonderful everything is. Thank you, Marilyn for all your communication and assistance. Having about 9 trips to Puerto Vallarta between us collectively, may we say this was absolutely THE BEST! Dave, you have a fine home and we felt very comfortable and welcome here. The beach and pool were so much entertainment for us! The little villages with their restaurants most charming.
