My wife and I searched all over Key West for an updated and modern home for our trip to Key West. This place exceeded our expectations in every way. Photos are not only accurate, but really don't do the place justice. Extremely private and on a quiet lane. I don't think we ever saw a car pass the entire week. We rented two bikes the day we arrived and never once had to take a taxi anywhere. Great grocery store right around the corner, just close enough to Duval, beaches, and marina but just far enough to avoid the crowds. Beautiful house, can't say enough about it. Amazing pool and backyard. Outdoor shower was an unexpected surprise and we used it daily. Very friendly owners too, not a single complaint. Will stay here again on my next trip.Recommended for: Age 55+, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing, pet owners, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

The house was AMAZING!!! I highly recommend it. The decor was beautiful. The pool and the location was perfect. The owners are very friendly and accomodating. I could not if imagined such a wonderful vaction in Key West!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

Had a perfect few days in Key West staying at Forager House. We were two couples and the floor plan allows for privacy with bedrooms/baths on opposite ends of the house, with nicely decorated and spacious gathering space in-between. The common space opens wide up with accordion french doors to the backyard oasis - a perfect place to spend sunny afternoons. The house is within walking distance (20 minutes or $15 cab ride) to all the excitement of 'downtown' Key West. The kitchen is well-equipped for making meals at home. George is a pleasant host and is happy to share directions to favorite restaurants. The property was listed for sale while we were there, so be sure to specify that you do not want showings during your stay - George was very accommodating in this regard. The only 'surprise' that we experienced was the planes flying quite low overhead en route to/from the Key West airport which made for some noise outside by the pool in the afternoon. It didn't ruin our experience at all but we were aware of it. Would stay again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

$9,000 month in season (Dec-May). Other months negotiable. Rates are based on a 30-day agreement as per city rules. Would prefer long-term rental such as mid-Dec through mid-Mar for $25,000.
