  For our first visit to New York we decided to book an apartment, trying to avoid the outrageous hotel rates....After having a good look around the web we came across Chich and must say he was an absolute pleasure to deal with. After paying a deposit the booking was confirmed, and Chich was most helpful prior to our arrival, answering all of our questions promptly. Even though we arrived late on a Saturday night, he facilitated us by making sure his doorman had the keys ready for us. The apartment itself is good value for money. As you'd imagine in NYC it's fairly small but has everything you need including cable tv. One downside was the noise from an AC unit or generator outside the window, although this clearly is out of Chich's control. If you close the window, you hardly notice it. The apartment has an internet connection available but no wifi, so you can't connect using a smartphone, Chich would do well to install a wireless router. All things considered we were very pleased with our stay and would happily recommend this apartment.

  I actually rented another apt from Chich than the shown above. It was at the upper east side between 84th and 85th. However, the place was just as shown in the pictures. It was very clean and it had everything we needed for the week that we stayed there. It had cable tv (we didn't use it of course, no time) and internet wich was great to find places to go and to look for phone numbers of the tours in order to make reservations, etc. Chich was great at answering all my questions and he replied to e-mails really really fast. You don't need to know anything else, once you are in New York everything is so easy, and so much fun!! Believe me, if you are looking for a cheap (for NY standards), nice, and close to the action place, Chich is your man!! You won't find a place with a better value than the ones offered by him. Before our trip, we were 5 people looking for a good place to stay in NY, we looked for like 3 weeks, and from around 60 options, our place was by far the better in regards to value (you get a lot for the price, specially the location!!).

  We rented a different studio with this owner, and it was perfect!! I was skeptical at first, but Chich was very helpful and answered all of my questions. We could not have had a better first experience with "HomeAway". Thank you again for a wonderful stay in NYC.

  The property was clean but it begins to have little bad details (not perfect maintained): dirty sofa, dishes broken, limited dinner service, without lighter.. Couldn't see the owner and iwe had to go to search the Keys in another place. When we arrived they were still the other customers and after the laundry woman.. Owner provide us a bad service. But althought this, I recommend this property to a friend or relative: exceptional district and good price. Activities, attractions and restaurants : ther e are a lot!

  We are a couple, and we stayed in the apartment 4 weeks in january-february, and our stay was just perfect. Everything was very clean, the apartment is quiet and the neighborhoud very friendly. The owner was extremley helpfull!! So once again I highly recommend it!

  Owner was very helpful and responded quickly to our emails. The apartment itself was clean and comfortable. We didn't find all the equipments that are listed in the listing description (coffee maker and hair dryer) but for example linens were provided by the owner which was not mentioned in the list. Location of the apartment was perfect for us because there were many restaurants and markets nearby in addition to good connections via subway. The apartment was quite quiet although it was located in a lively neighborhood. All in all we found our stay to be very easy experience and therefore we would recommend this apartment for others.

  From the inception onward the landlord was communicative, friendly,helpful and available. Everything was set up prior to my visit. Upon my arrival he made things simple and easy. Picking up the key and finding the vacation rental was a breeze. The location of the studio was in a great area. I was able to take long walks or easily get public transportation in any direction. The studio was quiet and clean. I slept well there. It also came with cable and an internet connection. I was able to walk to Central Park and I was taken by the prospect of organic foods, a great vegetarian restaurant, and great wine stores in the neighborhood. If available I would stay there during my next trip to New York. Great deal. Joseph

  this flat was really nice.... it got everything is needed and more.... the neighbourhood is perfect with a lot of supermarkets, restaurants, bus stop and subway station close to the apartment..... final review: very very good flat....

  While I didn't end up staying at Chich's apartment this time around due to change of travel plans I would like to make comment about how easy it was to communicate with him. He was excellent at answering my emails, all my questions and providing me with extra pictures. All responses came through within 24 hours. I would, for this reason definitely consider staying here when next in New York. A real person who answers his emails and is willing to help someone living half way around the world with the information they need. Good on you Chich! If only more rental owners were like you.

  rocemmended clean and well equipped apt. giving you the option to cook at home. near by you may find many grocery stores, Agata & Valentina, Sedutto, rite aid and duane reads. owned by helpful man who gave a fine customer service.
