We were a group of 22 people visiting the country side and the Yellowstone national park. We were sceptical before we arrived but as soon as we entered the house we are awed by the serenity and the ambience of the house. We were greeted aptly by the manager who explained about all the features, and how to operate all the necessary stuff. The manager is very friendly and very responsive. The house was well maintained as explained in the advertisement. We would love to book this lodge if we go again to the place and would recommend to any one visiting Yellowstone National Park or Montana.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, adventure seekers.

Our family reunion included18 persons from infants to Great Grandparents. We had more beds than we needed and we could all dine together. The house has a very nice setting with a pond and stream in the back yard. It is very convenient to the Big Sky resort area and to Yellowstone Park. White water rafting and fly fishing on the Gallatin River were favorites of our family. We would definitely rent this house again the next time that we plan a vacation in this area.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, adventure seekers.

I rented this place this past weekend to bring some customers up and we just had a great time. The house is HUGE, the property has breathetaking views and is footsteps from the famous Gallatin River. The proximity to everything in Big Sky was very nice, as we didnt have to travel far to store for misc goods. Thanks for the great stay and we can't wait to rent again!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2007
About the owner: We built this house so that we would have a large retreat location for our family of 7 children and 12 grand children.
Why the Owner Chose Private Homes:
We have been visitors and property owners in the Big Sky Area for over 30 years. The Yellowstone Country is such a unique and special place with outdoor activities 4 seasons of the year.
The Unique Benefits at this Lodge:
We love to enjoy the fantastic fly fishing on the Gallatin River and in Yellowstone National Park. Wildlife viewing is just out our back window and we regularly see elk, deer and moose. The skiing is some of the best in the country and we love both down hill and cross country.
