Located in the heart of the Laurentians, Cheshire Lodge sits inside a private, 189 acre wooded estate featuring its own lake, extensive woodland trails and scenery that will take your breath away.
The 6,500 sq ft handcrafted log home provides guests with both luxurious privacy, and convenient access to the area's major towns, tourist attractions, golf clubs and ski resorts. The new five star Esterel Golf Course is just a two minute drive from Cheshire Lodge's front gates; picturesque Saint Sauveur a short 15 minutes down Highway 15; the best skiing in Quebec lies half an hour north at Mont Tremblant.
Six years old, Cheshire Lodge was constructed by local artisan builders using only the finest materials. Hand cut Italian slate tiles in the reception area and kitchen perfectly complement the Lodge's custom milled wooden floors.
Walking in through the front door, visitors are greeted by a double fronted fire place which sits at the entrance to the lodge's spectacular 750 sq ft ‘Great Room’, boasting massive hand carved log walls and floor to ceiling windows commanding picture perfect views over the estate’s private lake and woods.
A state of the art kitchen is equipped with designer stainless steel appliances, including a 48' gas range stove, double door refrigerator/freezer and double dishwasher. A six-seater granite breakfast bar, and 14-seater dining area provide for both cosy family dining or, more lavish dinner party entertaining.
All the Lodge’s six bedrooms have been individually designed with either contemporary or antique furnishings. The Lodge’s two Master Suites come with spa quality ensuite bathrooms.
On the top floor, a private gallery with a stunning curved ceiling connects one master suite to two other bedrooms and a generous sized bathroom. A second Master Suite is located just off the Great Room, and a fifth bedroom (perfect for kids!) is located in the basement den, where you will also find a games room, laundry room and guest bathroom. Bathrooms have underfloor heating, pebble floored showers and huge baths.
For family entertainment, there is a 46' plasma TV with satellite TV, DVD, pool table and free WiFi internet access.
A 360 degree wraparound deck runs around the Lodge, with steps leading down into the landscaped gardens and beyond them, the lake. A cosy firepit with handcarved log benches and seats has been built halfway between the house and lake; perfect for Smores under the stars!

We spent 2 nights and 3 days in Cheshire lodge in April 2011. The house is wonderful, breathtaking! We were 6 persons and everybody had a very pleasant and relaxing weekend. If you like to cook, you will love the kitchen. It is a very "friendly" space to cook since everybody can sit at the counter and enjoy a glass of wine while you are cooking. The beds are comfortable and the house was very clean. Also, the house is very spacious. I could bring my little dog for the weekend. This was also very pleasant. The owner of the house was very helpful and friendly.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We spent 3 nights in this stunning, stylish, peaceful and fabulous property with charming views all around the house. From the warm greeting of the owner, until our departure, we could not wish for anything more at promiximity of St-Adèle and few minutes from the village. Highly recommended ~Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
