I brought a group of 10 people up to this house for a weekend (all 16 years old +). We fit perfectly in the house with room to spare. The house is clean and comfortable, and it's a screaming deal to house a group of people. It's also got great access to the mountains/ski resorts. The listed pictures are very accurate to what you receive. The owner was also a piece of cake to work with...he couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful. I will bring my group up here again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, pet owners, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers.

We just finished a 4-day stay and this property met all our needs. We are 3 gentlemen in our 60’s and having private bedrooms is a big benefit. That being said, we spent very little time in the house since we were either out hiking or eating. We used very little of what the house had to offer other than the beds, bathrooms and refrigerator. Everything was in good repair and we didn’t have any issues. We would return if we come back to this area in future years.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

We were somewhat disappointed in this rental. We walked in and it smelled musty and a bit like sewage. Granted, there was a big rainstorm going on, so maybe that is not normal. The place was not cozy at all compared to others I've rented. It is spacious, but it could really do with a paint job and some decor (and more counter space in the kitchen). The cleaning lady had forgotten to empty the trash and the kitchen trash was full plus the upstairs shower was not clean. Then (and my fault for not paying attention), there was zero TV - no local, sat or cable, and no internet. The redeeming factor was that there was a piano. The owners did seem very nice and accomodating, but unfortunately we will not be returning.Recommended for: Pet owners.
Owner response: Hello Barbara. We appologize for not meeting your expectations. My wife and I are very sorry for this. We have taken steps to correct the cleaning lady issue and the home does now have internet service. Once again we do apologize for you not enjoying your stay and would love it if you would give us a second chance.

My wife, brother, sister-in-law, and I spent the weekend there. We enjoyed the view and the very friendly town. There are some very good eating establishments in town and even a winery outlet within a couple of blocks. We enjoyed the stores down town and were amazed at the amount of old buildings there. I would encourage anyone to take a walking tour of Georgetown and please do go into the stores. The house was very comfortable and I too loved the water pressure. Everything we needed was there. The availablility of the gas grill just beckoned us to grill some good old steaks, which we did. the house was very clean and organized upon our arrival. Thanks to the owner for giving us the opportunity to spend the weekend and we will return!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers.

Wonderful house both indoors and out! There is plenty of room for larger groups and it also would be perfect for a romantic getaway. When you walk in the door you will feel comfortable and at home. Some visitors may not consider water pressure important - however we do and this house had the best water pressure of any mountain home we have ever stayed in :-) Our only disappointment was not having a DVD player - we did buy one and next time we will bring it along.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.
Owner response: I am happy to hear you had a great a time. We love the water pressure in the house too. I will see what we can do about the dvd player. :)

Why the Owner Chose Georgetown:
My wife and I both lived in this home for 2 years before having to move to Broomfield Colorado. We bought in Georgetown because we both loved the view. This little town is nestled in between a canyon and the rock formations that surround it are breath taking. It is also right by Clear Creek which makes for great fishing and hiking.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
We love Clear Creek. The rapid running water during the months of May and June are quite a sight and sound. We also love Guanella pass, located right behind Georgetown. The pass is beautiful, great for hiking, mountain biking, and can get you to some of Colorado's 14er's. The mountain goats, bighorn sheep, elk, and mule deer are also a fantastic sight to see.
