It is surrounded by a spectacular scenery, part of the Chichinautzin mountain range, which can be appreciated from the large terrace-pool area. Half an hour away by car lies Chalma, the second most important sanctuary in Mexico. The property has 6000 square meters.

Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children.

We spent a long weekend at this cozy house with friends and kids from 1 to 5 years old. We all had fun, relaxed and enjoyed very much the experience! The property is spacious, clean and well-maintained. The staff is also great and prepare delicious food. Kids loved the pool, gardens and trampoline. I personally loved the green mountain view from the pool area and the outdoor hammock! We definetely recommend the place and plan to come back soon!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children.

My familly and I rented the house for over a year and we went almost every weekend to rest and enjoy the contact with nature. Our kids loved gong there, running in the graden, playing arround in the pool and taking short walks to town. Highly recommended, the service is excellent!Recommended for: Families with young children.

The listing description is exaclyt the way the property is. I would say that the pictures do not revel the sense of amplitude that one can get as we enter the property. Everything is clean and well manteined. I spent a whole week with my familiy: my father uses a wheel chair, and this never was a problem. I have children and nephews among 10 and 15 and a brother in law from Holland: there was fun for every one of us! The kids had a tumbling, a swimming pool and a ping pong table to spend the day outside. And to rest, they played wiht computer games and watched movies. Not to mention the one hour ride horses in a expedition to see archeological sites. I enjoyed the typical mexican market and the very special stores at town.My sister from the northert part of the country was very delighted with the mexica pyramid. I strongly recommend this house for a family with different ages and interests that enjoy staying together.Recommended for: Pet owners, tourists without a car, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children, people with disabilities.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 1990
About the owner: I´m 60 years old, live in Mexico City, married and teach at the Universidad Iberoamericana.
Why the Owner Chose Malinalco:
Malinalco has a wonderful climate all year round, with the normal sequence of seasons typical of central Mexico, i.e., with a rainy season lasting approximately from June to September. It is sufficiently far and yet close to Mexico City allowing us to spend the day if we wanted to. Also, it has become a favorite spot for sophisticated Mexicans who share a liking for old Mexican traditions, good food, popular festivities, security and a peaceful environment.
The Unique Benefits at this Villa:
We particularly enjoy our cook's delicious Mexican cuisine. Her name is Pilar and is married to Julián, our site manager. Gabriel also is an integral part of our team.
