Year Purchased: 2008
About the owner: After a career that took us around the world, my wife and I decided to move to Mexico with our two young daughters. Initially, we spent several years restoring our home perched on the mountainside overlooking Ajijic. Then we decided to purchase and restore an old hacienda within the village as a rental property. This has been a labor of love, as well as a magical vacation rental for hundreds of travelers to Mexico.
Why the Owner Chose Ajijic:
The Lake Chapala region has become an internationally popular destination, and is listed in AARP, National Geographic, and Forbes (to name only a few) as one of the most ideal places to live in the world.
The Unique Benefits at this Villa:
These are all listed in our property description. Climate, affordability, access to a large metropolitan city, universities, culture, world-class health care and an international airport are all drawing points.
