  We had a wonderful 10 days in Poipu at this great Condo. Poipu makes a great starting point for your travels around Kauai. This is my second time to this island and we have stayed in this set of condo's both times. Hard to beat great value with excellent accommodations. We will be staying here on our next trip to Kauai.

  We have stayed at 4 condo's in Poipu Sands and this unit was the most disappointing. We loved the ground floor and the lanai but the condo is very dated and in need of updating. The kitchen utensils and pots looked they came from a thrift store. The condo had very few extras like DVD's, books, basic kitchen supplies and no stereo. There was an iPod docking station. The furniture was old and the beds very uncomfortable. With the old lighting the condo is very dark and we had trouble with the plumbing. We love Kauai and will be back but we won't be staying in this again.

  We thoroughly our stay! We were hesitant in booking on-line, but Lou Johnson and Carly put our minds at ease. The service Lou provided (picking up from airport and taking us back) was greatly appreciated!!! We will never forget 4 adults in a Corolla overnight (Tsnumai scare) - it was an adventure! Thank you again for the wonderful stay & service. The 2 condos were perfect & clean! My son and daughter-in-law recommended Great Vacation Retreats to a couple & baby who stayed at one of your properties recently.

  The "ocean view" was disappointing. We had to go out on the patio and look far to the left. However, the green belt was beautiful and it was a 50 yard walk to the pool. The location of Poipu Sands is wonderful. We felt the furniture and bedding needed updating but it were adequate. We appreciated the fans and the information about the area left for us. Our complaint about ants was handled promptly and professionally.

  Our family was more than pleased with our condo in Poipu Sands. From the spacious rooms, to the beautiful lanai, we really enjoyed our vacation home. We cooked most meals and appreciated the dishwasher, microwave, and coffee maker. We even brought most meals outside to eat during sunrise and sunset. The pool is really nice and relaxing, though we spent most of our time at the Hyatt enjoying their pools and other amenities. We had a great time at this rental, and would enjoy coming back again for more from and relaxation.

  This condo was great for our family. We could walk to several beaches and restaurants. The pool was a great option for grandma. The unit was spotless and had all the amenities we needed.

  We are about to move to our third location here in Kauai. We are looking forward to our next condo.   We just got back from our wonderful trip to Kauai. The Poipu Sands #417 that we had booked was great. We had a total of 6 people in our party and everyone just raved about the facility, its location and amenities. Thank you for a great and much needed vacation!
