  We had a memorable stay in Barcelona... not just for the touring, food, and wine... but for the "AT HOME" stay in this amazing apartment. The high tech, safe, and beautifully decorated apartment gave us a comfortable break from all the tourist events of our day. The owners were very accommodating and eager to help us in every way possible... right down to ensuring we had a taxi waiting for us at 5AM on our departure day to the airport.

  It is my pleasure to write a recommendation for this lovely dwelling. The family couldn't have been more helpful and attentive to our needs. The condo was clean and lovely. The area is just great with excellent restaurants and wonderful bakeries. Very close to the metro. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if I travel to Barcelona.

  We loved our stay in this flat!! The location is actually the best place for staying in Barcelona. The area is quiet and safe. The neighbors are friendly and helpful. You are close to great restaurants and food stores. The Mediterranean is a short walk down the street and its just a short taxi ride to the old side of town. The flat itself is absolutely beautiful with all the amenities you need or want! Everything is immaculately clean. Miguel was waiting for us when we arrived and made us feel right at home. Victor was always available via email to immediately answer any question we had whatsoever. This all contributed to a very very good experience and we will definitely be returning!!!

  We stayed in Barcelona from 12/15 to 12/21 and could not be happier with this apartment. The decor is very warm and the amenities are great (clean showers, great water pressure, washer/dryer, Wi-Fi, etc.) What made our stay even better was all of the information Victor and his dad (Miguel) gave us prior to our trip - restaurant recommendations, tours, Spanish wines, etc. The location of the apartment is a $10 to $15 cab ride to most of Barcelona's attractions including La Sagrada Familia, La Perdera, Las Ramblas, Gothic Quarter, Passeig de Gracia, and a pleasant 10 minute walk to the beach. The metro (Barcelona subway) is also a 10 minute walk from the apartment. All in all, a great stay and we'd highly recommend staying here!

  This well- maintained, three bedroom apartment in a very nice neighborhood was the setting for a wonderful vacation for six adults! Access to the metro, convenient places for shopping and quaint Rambla Poblenou made our stay more than enjoyable. The owners were extremely helpful and available for any questions we had. We highly recommend this apartment!

  My family of 5 including 3 children in the 8 to 11 age range spent 17 days in this fantastic apartment in the wonderful Poblenou section of Barcelona. Victor, and his father Miguel, couldn't have been better hosts and I would recommend this apartment unconditionally. The apartment is as advertised with the pictures providing a very accurate depiction. The rooms are all very nicely decorated, decent size and meticulously cleaned and cared for by Victor's mom, who is a nice as they come. My wife and I stayed in the 3rd bedroom as it had the ensuite bathroom, with my 9 year old son getting the Master and my daughters sharing the bedroom next to him, which border the main bathroom. The living area and kitchen met all our needs and my wife and I particularly enjoyed morning coffee and evening wine on the balcony. The Poblenou area is fantastic, with the Rambla Del Poblenou exceeding all expectations with its many restaurants, cafes, bakeries, shoppes and services of all kinds. We literally strolled the Rambla 3 or 4 times a day in various pursuits and it is a leisurely 10-12 minute walk down to the beach. The yellow and red metro lines are each 7-10 minutes away by foot and offer easy access to all of Barcelona, with the Yellow Poblenou stop ending up being our go to location. I'd avoid the Yellow Lacuna stop at night as it’s in a fairly industrial section of the district. Victor and Miguel are excellent and gracious landlords, providing assistance upon request. Victor has excellent thoughts on restaurants and please make sure you have him make your party as Rescasens early in your visit, as it is probably our most favored dining memory, which in Barcelona is high praise. I’ll end with this short story, which I think pretty much summarizes our experience. When we arrived around 11am Barcelona time, Miguel and his wife were still preparing the apartment for our arrival. They let us come up, drop off our bags and gave us directions to a nice little café to grab lunch. During our brief conversation, my youngest daughter announced that it was her 8th birthday that day. Well when we came back 2 hours later, Miguel had purchased her a birthday cake and somehow also managed to find a candle in the shape of the number 8, which was sitting right in the middle leaving no doubt that this was in fact her birthday cake. That along with a bottle of wine for Mom and Dad sealed our opinion and started what may have been our best Holiday ever!

  The flat was very nice and accommodating for our group of 4 adults and 1 child. The quick response to replace the dishwasher was much appreciated, and of course saved our hands from doing the dishes! Victor and Miguel gave great recommendations for what to see and where to eat in the area. We enjoyed drinking our cortado in the cafes of the neighborhood and our favorite place to eat was Can Recasens. Thank you for making our stay memorable!

  Our One week stay in this lovely apartment in Barcelona was everything we hoped it would be. In advance, Victor was more than helpful in providing us with information to make our arrival by car easy. Parking was expensive, so we turned in our rental car and found the local hop on hop off bus service to be excellent and taxis to be inexpensive. The location of the apt. Was very convenient and we loved feeling a part of the local community on the nearby rambla. We were a pleasant walk to the beach and found easy access to all of the sights of beautiful Barcelona. Miguel was a most congenial host. We would recommend this property happily!

  Our group of 4 stayed at this beautiful & comfortable apartment for 4 days in October. Every need was met - from wine in the cooler and iPod connection for music to hair dryer and good towels. The location on a real Rambla provides a true neighborhood experience away from the tourist zone. It's very quiet and safe. We loved to stroll the Rambla every night with families out walking children or dogs. There are many great restaurants nearby plus grocery, pharmacy, and bakery. Two metro stops are within 4-5 blocks. We also enjoyed a walking tour with Miguel - who has an obvious passion for the history and Modernista architecture of Barcelona. We highly recommend this apartment!

  What a wonderful place to stay. Off the beaton path and away from the crowds, but in the middle of a beautiful residential area and close to everything. The apt. is great and the owners so accomadating. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly and highly recommend it. It was a beautiful 10 min. walk to the beach, close to all trams, buses and subways.
