  My family of six enjoyed our stay in Pensacola Beach, FL, for spring break. The house was roomy with a wonderful beach front view. Bedrooms were large and plenty of bathrooms. The floor could have used a bit more cleaning but I'm sure the proximity to the beach makes that challenging. All-in-all, we were comfortable and enjoyed the trip. The kids played on the beach out front and we cooked out on the porch at night. Beautiful sunsets and plenty of cold beer. Enough said.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

  We stayed at this property May 1st thru the 5th. Although the weather didn't cooperate too much.....we still had a great time! There were 10 of us.....all women......and there was definitely enough room for all of us to fit comfortably inside (because of the rain....we did spend alot of time inside!!) The house was clean....had enough pots/pans/dishes/utensils. We had a problem with the smoke alarm beeping constantly (taking the battery out did not shut it up) but we made a quick phone call (on a SATURDAY) and someone was there to fix it in a couple hours. The location on the beach is PERFECT.....when the sun did make an entrance...we just got our chairs...walked off the deck....and the beach was there!! One nite we took a cab to a place called "Seville Quarter" (the cab ride was only $25).....what a great place to go to if you're looking for entertainment....we went to the Dueling Piano show and had a BLAST!! This was our 2nd year staying at a property managed by this rental agency....and they have been wonderful to us and very attentive if we needed anything at all. We definitely plan on returning next year!!!! See you then Pensacola Beach!!!

  I was sooo happy with this beach house right on the gulf! We almost didn't book because we saw a bad review. Not sure what happened with that persons visit, but we found the staff, location, and home to be excellent! Sometimes there is no pleasing people and if it was a legitimate review then the rental company has stepped up their game. We found the home clean and we didn't want for anything it was all at our fingertips. I wish we could have stayed longer.

  We stayed at this property to attend a family wedding and were thankful that we only booked the minimum three nights. The only positive thing I can say is that it is right on the beautiful gulf beach. The house is worn, shabby, poorly maintained, poorly cleaned, and in need of a new management company. As a rule, I never book VRBO properties that are managed by rental agencies, but this home looked like it fit our needs. What a total disappointment. The coffee pot was moldy on the inside, kitchen drawers filled with crumbs, the deck corner filled with rusted, broken grill, grill parts, damaged folding table, and filthy trash cans. The floor had a weird film on it that turned the soles of your feet black. The new sure-fit slip covers barely hid the nasty state of the couches. Towels were worn thin and coarse. Two dangerous places were a very loose step going from the deck to the beach and a missing deck railing through which a child could easily fall- and my grandchildren were with us! I attempted some cleaning myself only to find the broom was completely covered in clumps of hair! I did call the rental agency and they or their folks made three trips out to give us a new coffee pot, grill, broom, repair the dangerous areas, and remove the rusted outdoor times from the deck. But a simple pre-rental inspection wold have easily solved these issues. And each visit interrupted out stay. I also actually contacted the rental agency prior to our trip to ask about this property's rental record off season and that it needed to be clean for my family and grandchildren. I was assured all was in order... Right! I could continue, but you get the idea. This property deserves the poorest recommendation and should be seriously reviewed before continuing on the VRBO site.

  Owner response: Dear Judy- We are extremely sorry that you were unhappy with your stay at this house. We take great pride in ensuring that all of our guests have a pleasant vacation experience. With that being said, it is our policy (both orally and written) that the renters do an inspection upon arrival to resolve ANY issues. This helps ensure that our guests leave us satisfied instead of disappointed. Once the complaints were brought to our attention, we resolved them promptly. It is true that all of these issues were not able to be resolved by one person, as we have specially trained staff who have specific roles for the company: a maintenance man for repairs, cleaning staff for cleaning, and even an owner that will often gladly replace the things that aren't in great condition. The issues that we were notified about were resolved in a timely fashion, and Pensacola Beach Rentals takes pride in each of our units and assure you that if it was was "torn", "worn", or "shabby", we would not be renting it. It has recently had renovations in addition to it's regular upkeep and cleaning, including interior and exterior painting, and is in excellent condition. Again, we are very sorry that things were not up to your standards, and that fixing the problems that you had wasn't done in a way that you found satisfactory.
