Our two bedroom air-conditioned condo in Villas West, Green Valley, Arizona. The first thing you will notice when you drive in is the lush grounds of the complex. There are flowers, palm trees, trees, grass, and cactus. Our condo is well maintained and meticulously decorated with fine art, southwest colors and designs. Parking is right in front. Unloading the car is a breeze with no stairs to contend with. You do not have to park in the back of the complex. The living room has a sofa bed (which is nice for guests) and matching chair in southwest colors, the two end tables have matching lamps. There is also a swivel rocker, telephone table with a landline telephone - with answering machine. You won't miss any important calls while you are out on an adventure. Fine art work includes Carol Grigg and Adam Shade. A 25' TV is in the living room entertainment center along with a DVD player, VCR and CD player. We have expanded cable so you can enjoy your favorite game or show.
The large shared heated pool with lounge chairs, tables and restrooms is only steps away! The lush grounds have cactus, trees and lots of flowers. The Green Valley golf courses are San Ignacio, Haven, Canoa Hills, Canoa Ranch & Torres Blancas. You can get a tee time 5 days in advance – which you can reserve online if you wish. Yes, we have high speed internet.
The master bedroom has a comfortable, high quality queen size bed with a wood headboard, end table, reading lamp, chest of drawers and 2 closets. The 19” TV in the master bedroom is wall mounted. Décor includes southwest knick naks and framed southwest art – some of the prints are signed! The guest bedroom also has a comfortable double bed, with bookcase, nightstand & matching dresser with a mirror. The bathroom – which is accessible from both bedrooms – has a full bathtub/shower plus it is handicapped accessible. The fully stocked kitchen includes all small kitchen appliances, a full size gas stove and a full size refrigerator.
The patio has a wrought iron gate and , a charcoal Weber grill & a large electric grill. The patio is perfect to enjoy your favorite beverage and enjoy the Arizona sunsets! There is also a shed in back to store luggage, bikes, or golf clubs. Green Valley Recreation Centers are available with this condo. Visitors can choose to purchase a reasonable visitor pass to use any of the 13 Green Valley Recreation (GVR) centers. All you need is your clothes. There are all kinds of classes and activities to enjoy. You can pick & choose what you want to do.
The condo is close to everything. There is an easy walk to Walgreens & the grocery. There are walking trails to enjoy as well. You will meet other walkers. Villas West is professionally managed and cared for. Right around the corner is the Farmer's Market. Every Wednesday you can purchase fresh vegetables, fruits and enjoy local artists and entertainment.

The 2 bedroom villa in the Villas West area of Green Valley is centrally located to all emenities and activities. The villa itself was as described, clean, close to pool, with a rear storage shed. I would certainly recommend this villa to a friend. Improvements I would suggest are: new and comfortable mattress for convertable bed, tv digital cable receiver, umbrella for front patio, and a propane barbeque.Recommended for: Age 55+.

About the owner: My name is Jeannette. I was a snowbird for many years - escaping the winter of Minnesota to Arizona! I enjoyed this condo for years before I relocated. It is convenient to everything.
Why the Owner Chose Villas West:
The winter weather is the main reason I purchased this condo. I love the lush grounds of the complex, the birds, grass, cactus and flowers. There is an easy walk to shopping. You can see Arizona wildlife. I also like the fact that parking is right in front of the condo with no steps! The complex is quiet and convenient to everything. Green Valley is rich in history and boasts more than 300 sunny days a year. It offers abundant recreation in the rural Santa Cruz River Valley overlooking the Santa Rita mountain range. An elevation of 2,900 feet assures a much cooler climate than Tucson or Phoenix. Annual temperatures average 80 degrees during the day and 50 degrees at night. I love the golf courses, scenery, and the opportunity to participate in social activities with others that are 55 and over!
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
My condo is GVR eligible. Winter visitors can enjoy exercise rooms, heated swimming pools, racquetball, pickleball, bocce, tennis, shuffleboard, woodworking, camera clubs, computer clubs –too many clubs to mention! There are numerous card clubs to choose from as well. This is a great way to meet other people that have the same interests you do. There is a small fee for the rec centers. It is the perfect vacation spot for winter visitors who are 55 plus. The Desert Diamond Casino is 15 minutes away. It is only 20 minutes from the Tucson International Airport. There is lots to do here in sunny Arizona!
