The "new" 6 bedroom, 4.5 bath Kathryn Rose and its guesthouse, Rose Bud, a 1 BDR, 1BA that sleeps 4, have been totally redecorated! New wall colors, bedding, additional furniture and updated kitchen. These two homes can be rented independently of one another or together, depending on your needs.
The Kathryn Rose sleeps up to 20, and Rose Bud can sleep up to 4 or is perfect for a romantic getaway. Together, they can sleep a total of 24 people, making them a great location for family reunions, a football weekend, church groups or scrapbooking groups, the Kathryn Rose and the Rosebud offer your group a comfortable, spacious setting to relax and enjoy your time together.
The Kathryn Rose and the Rosebud are connected by a large deck which turns into a screened in wrap-around porch on The Kathryn Rose, great for kicking back on those lazy summer days. Sleeping arrangements in the Kathryn Rose include a third floor 1000-sq.ft. bunk room with 6 twin beds, full bath and a sitting room with a queen sleeper sofa.
The second floor has 4 bedrooms, one with a king bed, the other 3 each have a queen bed. On the first floor is one more bedroom with a queen bed and its own private full bath. The first floor living room has a fireplace and privacy doors for when the queen-size sleeper sofa is used. A powder room is conveniently located right across the hall. The Rosebud has a king-size bed in the master bedroom, a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room, a full kitchen and bath.

Our four homes are located in the award-winning Beachwalk resort community in Michigan City, Indiana where there are activities aplenty right outside your doorstep. There are tennis courts, basketball courts, a cafe, a sand volleyball court, a pool, a park, and Lake Kai, a small lake for swimming, fishing, and non-motorized watercraft use, and in the winter when it freezes, the ice skating is fabulous. Also well within walking distance are the beautiful beaches of Sheridan Beach, on Lake Michigan where you can enjoy swimming, windsurfing, jet skiing, fishing, sailing, as well as a number of other activities.
Other attractions in the area include Washington Park, The Zoo, The Blue Chip Casino, a host of fine restaurants, Prime Outlets Mall (Formerly known as The Lighthouse Mall), three (3) museums, and The Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore and State Park, which is only minutes away.
The Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore boasts 8500 acres of Lakeshore, Bogs, Forests, and enormous Sand Dunes. Activities there include swimming, fishing, hiking, picnicking, horseback riding and cross-country skiing.
