Owner response: Yes, it is a bit of heaven. Relaxed and comfortable is the way I've always felt and a real Hawaiian experience. Come join us! E komo mai as the Hawaiians say.
We just returned home from a wonderful week stay here at Pats!! Everything was great, the place was clean and stocked, beds were confortable :) the view was ""AMAZING"" loved the sound of the beach from the balconly! The beach was just steps away and breathtaking. We could watch the ocean from our bed.Not to mention on Thanksgiving day we watched a local spear an Octopus he called it his Hawaiian Turkey :) been home 2 days and ready to go back !!

Best non-family place EVER!!!
Best non-family place EVER!!!
My husband and I celebrated our 20 year anniversary in Hawaii; one week here, one week in Maui. But this was our favorite. The cottage was just as described here, but even better and was so immaculately clean, which meant so much to us. If you have kids and want all the touristy town stuff, this is not the place for you. You have a drive to most of the tourist attractions, which did not bother us at all. However, it was soooo quiet, relaxing, peaceful, beautiful . . . I just can't say enough about it! There were no noisy kids running, playing, screaming, or crying. Beach not crowded. Just wonderful peaceful bliss! I loved going to sleep and waking up to the sound of the ocean every day, and drinking coffee in the sunroom every morning as we watched the sun come up. Then within 10 seconds we could take a walk on the beach. I tear up as I write this, I miss it so much already. Thank you for sharing your paradise with us and making our trip special.

Owner response: Thanks Mom (just kidding of course). I completely agree with everything in this review with one exception. We always welcome well behaved children any time at my cottage. I do feel that this is a kid and family friendly place, after I was a kid once too. George Heiligman owner.
