We hope you love Hope Town as much as we do. We built this home to maximize the water views and encourage family time. It's great having the fresh water pool after a long day in the salt water. Luxury 5B/4B beach; pool house right on the Atlantic Ocean 35 feet above sea level. Master suite boasts four poster Bamboo queen bed, sitting area, cable TV, and private bath. The second master also has a private bath with a tub/shower combo as well as a balcony overlooking the lush tropical garden. The main floor has an open plan featuring 25 ft-vaulted ceilings in the great room with entertainment center and collection of board games, books, and all the stereo equipment you could need. We have a gourmet kitchen with large island bar that seats 7 and the best of everything from granite counter-tops to stainless appliances. 8 person dining room table as well.
The view is all ocean from just about every room. Step onto large covered porch set up as second outdoor living area which runs right into the freshwater swimming pool . From the pool deck you can head straight down the stairs to the beach. Island life sometimes deems it necessary so Always Wendy includes a backup generator with an automatic transfer switch.
The house is perfectly appointed with comfortable décor to make you feel right at home. Larger extended families, groups of traveling friends and two or three families can enjoy this spacious home. One of our favorite features is a 1 Bedroom studio with private bath on the ground level featuring it's own porch, private entrance and sitting area with couch. This area can accommodate a small family. There is cable TV, microwave, coffee maker and mini fridge. Also perfect for nannies, your pilot, boat captain or In-laws.

Year Purchased: 2010
About the owner: The first trip to Hope Town was a Guys' fishing trip. Later I moved my boat down here and enjoyed many more fishing trips. I proposed to my wife in Hope Town. I was married in Hope Town and my children have been coming to Hope Town from 3 weeks old. Each time I stay in my home the island seems even better than the visit before. It's peaceful, beautiful, fun and I hope you enjoy it as much as we do. My mother-in-law loves it here, as much as my children-there's something for everybody.
Why the Owner Chose Hopetown:
Hope Town is a little Village fringed with a white sandy beach. There's lots to do on the island, but there are dozens of islands a short boat ride away. So, you can snorkel in your backyard or pack a picnic and find your own uninhabited island for exploring, shelling, picnics, etc. I'm not sure I chose Hope Town, I think Hope Town chose me. I can't get this place off my mind when I'm not here.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
My wife is a great cook so you will have the best of everything in the kitchen. She's also a fanatic about cleaning, so the house is in pristine condition. There is a long drive with landscaping and you'll have a lot of privacy. We spend a lot of time on the deck as we have a living room set up under a gazebo roof. Sometimes we see whales from our porch. The beach is amazing with lots of shells.
