  I have never before used vrbo.....but I had previously stayed at Island Vista. I loved Island Vista so I decided to try it through vrbo on my return. I was really nervous of how the condo may have been in comparison. Well, it was perfect. In addition, the owners upgrades and extra touches were nice...beach toys, chairs, upgraded kitchen amenities and awesome patio furnishings. You will not be disappointed. ..oh, and the beds were comfy and had great bedding...thanks.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

• Amazing condo

  My family and I stayed at this gorgeous condo this month. We could not have been more pleased. This condo has every amenity one looks for in staying at a beach condo. The lobby staff is very friendly and helpful, the water activities exceed anything I have ever experienced (my grandchildren did want to leave), and the condo layout and furnishings were perfect. The kitchen had every appliance and gadget one would ever need and the three bedrooms were spaciously separate. We loved the four nice TVs and all the board games that were provided. but what we loved and appreciated most were the most incredible views outside the living room and master bedroom. Wow. We are coming back next year and plan to reach out to this owner once our dates are confirmed.

  Our family really enjoyed our stay. The condo has all the conveniences of home and it is very well maintained. From the keyless entry which allowed everyone easy in and out access to the board games and DVD movies to keep the kids entertained, everyone had a great time. The beach closet also had boogie boards, beach towels, umbrella and beach chairs. The direct oceanfront balcony has comfortable cushioned chairs and a great view up and down the beach. The unit was on the 11th floor and being away from the elevator and the garage area it was very quiet. The spacious living room was great for family gatherings and the dining room table had chairs for eight. If you want to get some exercise there is a room near the pool that has various exercise equipment. The outdoor pools are real nice with lots of palm trees and lawn space. The owner was always quick to reply to any questions and we saved quite a bit of money compared to booking through the resort. From what I could see of the resort rooms, going with an owner unit is definitely better. Myrtle Beach has lots to offer for guests of all ages. I’d certainly recommend staying here.

  Absolutely fantastic place to spend some time for relaxation, near by activities, restaurants, or just about anything you like. Accomodations are stellar, cool little tiki bar w great pooolside service, even can just stay right there for several days without travelling from that spot !

  Condo was nice and spacious with an excellent balcony to enjoy ocean views. Property was very nice with a great uncrowded beach. We enoyed our stay and would like to go back soon.

  I just stayed at this oceanfront condo in Myrtle Beach with my daughter and her friends. Although I have traveled to Myrtle Beach often over the years and stayed at many of the hotels, I found this to be the best one I have visited by far. It was a roomy spacious well maintained home away from home, well decorated. The large kitchen with modern appliances was equipped with everything you need, and the living room and large balcony connected to the master BR was the best. The unit is rented out by the owners who add many personal touches to your stay and even offer their personal supplies and media for your comfort and convenience. I have never stayed anywhere that the renters are so friendly and attend to every detail as this. The ease of renting from them and having convenient parking and a code instead of a key was great. The staff was great also and the restaraunt had excellent food, with the poolside tiki bar and indoor pools and jacuzzi all convenient and plush adding to the ambience of the place. And the stretch of beach is expansive since it is mostly in a residential area. You can't beat the location being so close to all the attractions like Barefoot Landing and Broadway at the Beach. I would definitely recommend staying here and will be back next year!

  My family stayed at this condo last summer and it was absolutely perfect for our summer vacation. We have visited Myrtle Beach for several years and Island Vista is the best mix of space and convenience we have found. The unit was very clean upon our arrival and tastefully decorated. The condo has a fully stocked kitchen and a very large dining room table that was perfect for our family meals. The ocean front balcony stretches the entire unit with access from the living room AND the master bedroom. My daughters loved each having their own private bed and bath. The property has several pools which my grandson enjoyed to the fullest each day. My daughters and I enjoyed the spacious tanning lawn and tiki bar while the boys were more interested in the beach. The building is located in a mostly residential area that prevents the beach from ever feeling crowded (not the case if you stay closer to downtown). The owner was so friendly and easy to deal with; as experienced Myrtle Beach vacationers, we have always had better luck dealing with individual owners than hotel management. The added décor and little extras (games, beach supplies etc) provided in this unit really made us feel at home. If you are looking for a beautiful home for your family vacation to Myrtle Beach, this one will not disappoint. We will be calling Joe soon to reserve for next summer!
