This was a cozy cottage that we could have stayed all week in! unfortunately, we were only in sundance for barely 3 days. the owners were so sweet and accomodating. the cottage is a perfect size for a couple and is an amazingly well-lit and private space that at the same time is close to civilization if you want it to be (sundance resort with restaurants and lifts to the mountains is a short walk away and the spa is across the street!). The decor was charming and modern, layout was perfect, with a great eat-in kitchen, cozy enough but without feeling cramped. there is a very peaceful balcony that overlooks the woods but feels completely private. overall this was a romantic and beautiful little cottage for a lovely getaway.Did you find this review helpful? We truly enjoyed our week of solitude and natural beauty here at #27 Mandan Cottage. Words can only express a fraction of the glory we encountered. The unit felt very cozy and we also loved the spacious deck for our morning exercise routine. Finally on our last day we did show shoe! Thanks for the use of the snow shoes and the blender. Lastly - the unit is so nicely decorated; a much appreciated and enjoyed amenity! Warmest Regards, Laurinda.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Very charming! Enjoyed a few days here, but it's quite small. There is nowhere to comfortably sit by the fire, or a sofa to share if you want to read a good book by the fire. Property was clean, and the firewood was supplied. When you arrive it is not clear whether you check in with the actual Sundance Resort or not, so arrival was somewhat confusing. But the scenery is fantastic, and the restaraunts are wonderful!Recommended for: Pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

Our stay at Sundance was really great...such a beautiful place! The cottage was wonderful. Thanks for having firewood and starters available. The bed was comfy and the linens were beautiful. Thank you also for taking time to bring us snowshoes. We appreciate your thoughtfulness. We will recommend this cottage to our friends and family. What a wonderul setting-nestled in the mountains, cozy cabin, scenic views....who could ask for more? My husband and I came here on business, but managed to leave feeling rested, romantic and even had a great time recreationally with all the snow we got while we were here. We will not forget this and will certainly tell others about this amazing get away. Kim & FrancoDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

My friends and I stayed at this cottage Jan 2011 during the film festival. We enjoyed the comfortable and clean cottage; it's true to the pictures. We had plenty of room for three people. We started our day with breakfast in the cottage. We brought the food and the cottage was equipped with everything we needed--coffee pot, toaster, and utensils--to make bacon and eggs. The fridge is typical apartment size but we had plenty of room for all our perishables and drinks. The bathroom is large with the vanity separate from tub and commode. There was plenty of hot water for three showers each morning. Also comes equipped with a blow dryer and ironing board and iron. I used both. Always a plus to find those items on hand! The staff at Sundance is the best! They are helpful and engaging. We wandered from the front desk to the screening room to the gift shop. And, we had dinner at the Grill All of our encounters were pleasant. Nearby Park City is a quaint town with plenty of shopping and restaurants; it's about 45 minutes from the resort.Recommended for: Girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

I found vicki and brad, owners of stewart mountain lodging to be quite gracious and accomodating. The cottage was very clean and was updated with all the creature comforts. The sony plazma tv above the fireplace was perfect for watching a movie or diect tv digital satellite, hbo and sundance channel. The Tree room in the base area served a delicious pepper steak, which I would reccomend to anyone. The owl bar is very rustic in apearance but serves up acoustic gitar and local live bands on fri/sat nights during the ski season. Overall very relaxing and great for a business conference stay.Recommended for: Girls getaway, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.
