This is an excellent condo for a fun little getaway to the desert! There is a great spa right next door and the pool is awesome (usually not very crowded so it is almost your own). It is close to everything, you can walk across the street to Old Town with restaurants and bars for a fun night out! The wine bar is especially close and a really cool place to hang out for the evening. The condo is very comfortable, clean, and roomy.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

My wife and I were looking for an extended weekend getaway that offered both the easy "stay put and relax" option as well as the "get out and explore" option (we have young kids and never know which we'll need)... oh, and friendly on the pocket book too. We found the perfect place!!! On the relax front... - Pool a stones throw from the unit - grocery/restaurant/take-out all walking or short drive - comfy unit with full amenities (including washer/dryer) - REALLY comfortable bed! On the explore front... - Aerial tram (fun and unique day adventure, bring cold weather clothes) - Joshua tree (funky trees and a landscape that reminded me of the Flintstones cartoon, great hikes) - Desert cities (it's just different there... in a good way, as a vacation should be) Normally I have something to complaint about on a trip, but can't think of anything. We even had good traffic to/fro LA. The listing is accurate, owner answered our questions promptly, and it was all just EASY. I'd recommend this to anyone. We plan on return trips (with and without kids).Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

About: We live in San Diego and plan trips to La Quinta to stay in our condo and enjoy swimming and playing in the parks with our baby girl!
Why Casitas Las Rosas:
We bought this as a vacation property that we can use when we want to get away with our family. When we're not staying there we rent it out to others so they can enjoy the charm of the desert life.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
You can enjoy many things about staying at our Condo in La Quinta. Sometimes you just want to spend the weekend lounging by the pool and strolling through Old Town. There is great dining nearby and hiking trails at the foothills of the desert mountains. You can walk to so many things right from the condo, even 'Fresh and Easy' is next door if you plan to make use of the kitchen. The Arial Tramway is fun to get a great look at the desert valley, and there is snow at the top around winter time, even at surprising times when it's hot in the valley there is snow on the top. Joshua Tree is also close by if you're up for a drive through the national forest.
