High Spirits Lodge is a unique experience. It is a year-a-round home on one of the most beautiful Islands in the Thousand Islands: Grindstone! High Spirits features full views up and down the St. Lawrence from the scenic north side of the Island away from hustle and bustle of the shipping lanes. The Lodge is located in an isolated area of the Island known as Spookhollow on the Ennis Family Compound. The Ennis Family has been on Grindstone for over 50 years. There are no ferries or bridges so a boat is required. The Lodge provides a private dock for its guests. The bedrooms are provided with window air conditioners. The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, stove, built in oven, garbage disposal, refrigerator, and all the utensils required for fine living. The large deck with its astounding view has a gas bar-b-que, and deck chairs and table. Remember a boat is REQUIRED to access Grindstone. Boats may be rented at Clayton Marina and others. Come and enjoy a week or two or a month!
