The condo is very nice, but beware as it is not what is described in the pictures at all!!. The kitchen is more of a wet bar area, there is a mini fridge, there is not ice maker, there is no counter to eat at, the living room does not have a wall of windows -as a matter of fact is faces the hallway which makes it very dark, there is no fireplace, the bedroom sort of had a mountain view but the lighting was very inadequate, and overall for 2 people it was very tight. 4 people would not fit. On the upside the location is great, the beds are comfortable, the pool is good, and the shuttle was fairly easy to catch to town. It is to bad the pictures give you a complete misconception of what you are really paying for.Owner response: We called the renter after receiving this review to discuss the problem. We explained that we were renting several different timeshare weeks and while all accommodated up to 4 people, not all the floor plans and accommodations were the same. That's why they were being offered at different rates. In addition, we had tried to make distinctions in our descriptions and have subsequently added more language to make differences in accommodations even clearer. Still, we wanted to show the renter that we were truly sorry for any confusion and wanted them to feel like they were treated fairly, so we offered them a refund which they were glad to accept. Any prospective renter is encouraged to look at the website for the facility (which we are not permitted to list by VRBO) and check out the floor plans for the unit being rented.

Why the Owner Chose Grand Timber Lodge:
We love living in Colorado with all that it offers in terms of our door recreation. Breckenridge is our favorite Colorado Mountain town. It's a real town with historic charm and lots of great shops and restaurants. The skiing is great and we love to snow shoe there too. When we cannot ski, the fishing and golfing in the area is also great. So that's where we decided to buy some time share weeks.
