You will love this luxurious 3-story Beach House located 1/2 block from the white sandy beaches of Oceanside, California. Come enjoy a fabulous view of the Ocean and the Oceanside Pier from the 3rd Floor View Deck. Sleep in one of 3 spacious Bedrooms, each containing King (2) or Queen (1) size beds with luxurious private bathrooms. For extra sleeping find a loft with twin and trundle bed, 1 Queen Size Sleeper Couch and twin size recliner. Cook in the well equipped Kitchen and then dine formally inside in the beautiful dining room or casually outside on private side patio or front deck. Snuggle up with a good book next to one of 3 Gas Fireplaces or watch the 'game' on one of the large flat screen TVs or a movie on HBO, Stars, or a Blue Ray Disk. Within walking distance of the Beach, the Harbor, Restaurants, 16 screen Movie Theater and driving distance from Lego Land, Sea World, Disney Land, and Knotts Berry Farm.
For Larger Groups: The McLarney Beach House will house up to 12 individuals very comfortably but for larger groups (up to 24 individuals) we recommend that you consider a joint rental of the Porter Beach House (property # 240526). These two houses are both part of a 4 house complex and are within feet of each other. Both have very similar floor plans and furnishings. Both house are managed by the same person so one inquiry for either house could include a request for the 2nd House also. Come Visit us Soon because we have now saved you TWO SPOTS on the BEACH.

This house was more than perfect! The house is located a block away from the beach so every morning included coffee and a walk on the beach – it could not have been better. All of the family, 8 adults, had a blast and there was plenty of room. The house was well furnished and a huge plus was that each bedroom had its own bathroom. We had more family staying in a neighboring city and the McLarney Beach House was the “Hot Spot” to hang out during the day since it was conveniently located to the beach. The whole family had such a great time, we will be repeat vacationers and will definitely stay here again! Also, Alana is so friendly, she always responded with promptness and thoroughly answered any questions. You will be completely thrilled to stay here!!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, families with young children, tourists without a car, girls getaway.

We really enjoyed our stay from 8/5/11 thru 8/9/11. The house was in good and clean condition, same as advertised on the website. All linens and towels were clean and ready for our use. Proximity to the beach was the best! Literally one block away which made a short walk with a toddler very easy. Alana the property manager went above and beyond in all communications with me. We had a question regarding the wireless and she called me back within minutes. Couldn't have asked for more. Would definitely recommend and hope to come back soon.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

The McLarney Beach House was all that was advertised... and more! With three full bathrooms and four sleeping areas upstairs, everyone was able to have their own space. There was even a blow-up bed for the youngest of our clan. The kitchen was well equipped, and the expandable dining table accommodated 14 of us when local relatives came by for a birthday dinner. The short walk to the beach and pier were daily activities. We also enjoyed the close proximity of I-5 when traveling to San Diego points of interest. And last, but not least, the wireless Internet allowed easy access for our technology addictions!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, girls getaway.

Cancellation policy:
1. CHECK-IN TIME IS AFTER 4:30 P.M. PST AND CHECK-OUT IS 10 A.M. PST. NO Early Check-in or late check-out. 2. This is a NON SMOKING unit. 3. Pets are not permitted in rental units under any conditions. 4. RESERVATION and SECURITY/DAMAGE DEPOSIT- A reservation and security/damage deposit of $400 is required. This must be received within seven (7) days of booking the reservation. The deposit automatically converts to a security/damage deposit upon arrival. The deposit is NOT applied toward rent; however, it is fully refundable within (14) days of departure, provided the following provisions are met. a. No damage is done to house or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear. b. No charges are incurred due to contraband, pets or collection of rents or services rendered during the stay. c. All debris, rubbish and discards are placed in trash dumpster or recycle baskets. Dumpster and recycle baskets are placed outside garage between metal ballasts for Friday trash pick-up. (May be placed outside on Thursday Night or early Friday Morning) d. Soiled dishes are placed in the dishwasher and cleaned. e. One load of laundry is started. f. The garage door is left down and house is left locked. g. All charges accrued during the stay are paid prior to departure. h. No linens are lost or damaged. i. Colored Beach towels are washed/dried and returned to garage. j. All other beach equipment are returned to garage. k. NO early check-in or late check-out. l. Parking passes and garage door openers are left on kitchen table upon departure. m. The renter is not evicted by the owner (or representative of the owner), the local law enforcement, or the security company. 5. PAYMENT – An advance payment equal to 50% of the rental rate is required sixty (60) days before arrival. The advance payment will be applied toward the house rent. Payments may be made by Visa, Master Card or Discovery Credit Cards or in the form of traveler's checks, bank money orders, cashiers checks, or personal checks payable to Alana Porter and mailed to 3031 E. Inverness Ave. Mesa, Arizona 85204. The BALANCE OF RENT is due thirty (30) days before your arrival date. 6. CANCELLATIONS – A sixty (60) day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made more than sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date will incur no penalty and reservation deposit will be refunded. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within sixty (60) days of the arrival date, forfeit the full advance payment and damage/reservation deposit. Cancellation within thirty (30) days or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent or deposit. 7. MONTHLY RESERVATION CANCELLATIONS – Monthly renters must cancel one hundred twenty (120) days prior to check-in. Monthly renters who make a change that results in a shortened stay must be made at least ninety (90) days prior to check-in. 8. MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY- The maximum number of guests is limited to twelve (12) persons. An additional charge or $10.00 per person per night for guests in addition to twelve (12) will be assessed. THIS PROPERTY REQUIRES A THREE (3) NIGHT MINIMUM STAY. 9. Longer minimum stays may be required during holiday periods. If a rental is taken for less than three days, the guest will be charged the three-night rate. 10. INCLUSIVE FEES – Rates include a one-time linen-towel setup. Amenity fees are included in the rental rate. 11. NO DAILY MAID SERVICE – While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included. We do not permit white bath towels or linens to be taken from the house. 12. BEACH EQUIPMENT - Colored Beach towels and beach chairs are provided for the use of guests and may be taken from the house but must be returned clean to garage at departure. 13. SAND - Shake beach towels and spray sand off feet and legs with hose provided just inside front patio after each beach visit and before coming into the house. Sand in the house is inevitable but excessive sand may result in a $50.00 fine taken from the security/damage deposit. 14. RATE CHANGES – Rates subject to change without notice. 15. FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS – Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check- in. 16. WRITTEN EXCEPTIONS – Any exceptions to the above mentioned policies must be approved in writing in advance. 17. PARKING PASSES – 2 Vehicle may be parked inside the garage. One additional vehicles may be parked on the street. Parking Pass is located inside the house. Renters must display parking pass on the rear view mirror at all times. Failure to display may result in ticketing or towing of vehicle at renter's expense. Leave the parking pass inside the house on kitchen table upon departure. 18. STREET SWEEPING --The City of Oceanside does a Bi-Monthly (1st & 3rd Mondays) street sweeping of Pacific St. (West side 6-10 AM--East side 10 AM-2 PM) and Surfrider (Both sides 6-10 AM). Guests will be notified of any street sweeping which falls within their reservation. Failure to remove any vehicle in accordance with this street sweeping will be ticketed at the owner’s own expense. 19. HURRICANE OR STORM POLICY – No refunds will be given unless: a. The National Weather Service orders mandatory evacuations in a "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning area" and/or b. A "mandatory evacuation order has been given for the Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning" area of residence of a vacationing guest. The day that the National Weather Service orders a mandatory evacuation order in a "Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning," area, we will refund: 1. Any unused portion of rent from a guest currently registered, 2. Any unused portion of rent from a guest that is scheduled to arrive, and wants to shorten their stay, to come in after the Hurricane Warning is lifted; and 3. Any advance rents collected or deposited for a reservation that is scheduled to arrive during the "Hurricane Warning" period.

Why the Owner Chose Other Oceanside Properties:
Joseph was born in Maine and learned to sail at the age of 13. He loves sailing! This property has helped him enjoy this hobbie by it's closeness to the Harbor. Being within walking distance of his boat it only takes a very few minutes to be on the boat and sailing out to sea. The McLarney's also love the surrounding area of Oceanside-a friendly atmosphere and convenient to many favorite vacation activities-Zoo, Theme Parks, Movie Theater, Casual and Fine Dining and the very best of Sand, Sea, and Surf that California has to offer.
