It was just right for three retired ladies. We were able to walk all around town and enjoyed the restaurants and views.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

The house has all the amenities including a new kitchen and two new bathrooms. It is within easy walking distance to the river (4 blocks) and to the main downtown shopping (6 blocks). Historic houses and churches are within 2-3 blocks. There is a large fenced backyard and a screened front porch. We enjoyed a pleasant week there in early April and would return if in the Beaufort area again. The only thing we would change would be to have a queen size bed in the master bedroom.Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners.

We were so excited to arrive in Beaufort; what a wonderful historic town. The home has been restored beautifully and is an easy walk to the waterfront and the surrounding neighborhoods. The area is quite flat, so walking in any direction was interesting and fun. The three bedrooms are each very nice and well situated off the living areas. We loved the bathrooms; both were very nicely done and quite large for an historic home. We cooked most of our meals and the kitchen area was nice and spacious. We didn't have a chance to use the back yard, but sat on the front porch a few times.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We had a Beautiful stay at the house. It was very clean and stocked with all of the necessities. It was a perfect place to stay while going to our son's graduation from the marine boot camp; it was such a short ride there. The only problem we had was getting wi-fi. The owners tried to get it fixed, but we were never able to connect..Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This is a true vacation getaway that leaves you wanting to stay longer. The home is just 10 minutes from Parris Island and perfected located for all you could want and need to do in Beaufort. The home is VERY spacious, comfortable, tastefully decorated, clean and leaves you dreading your check out day. You have every imaginable comfort and conveniences of being at home. The home is with in the downtown historical district which allows you to walk to see the sites. The owners were absolutely fantastic! If and when we are back in the area this IS the only place given a choice I will stay at.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We had a great time while in the area. The house was lovely and close to all that you would need. The owners were wonderful as well. Our new Marine left his watch behind and they mailed it to is promptly. We have already recommended the house to friends that will be traveling to PI in the coming months.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Great house, great location. Easy to get to Bay Street for shopping and to the waterfront from this house. Enjoyed our stay but it was too short. Would love to come back and spend more time in Beaufort and this place would be a wonderful place to do that. This house was described perfectly and had plenty of room. Lots of time and attention went into restoring this home. Owners were very helpful and easy to work with. Enjoyed sitting on front porch, rocking and listening to birds with my cup of coffee, overall a great place to relax.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We stayed here on Memorial Day weekend 2011, and it was just wonderful. My four year old loved playing out in the back yard, and we loved being able to walk down a few blocks to the fabulous water front park and all the restaurants and galleries downtown. The property was very clean, well-maintained and a perfect size. We only had a 3 day stay at this place but totally fell in love with the house. Everything was restored beautifully. The house is on a quiet street and we were able to slow down and enjoy the screened porch and watch the squirrels play across the street. Very relaxing. The house is located just a short walk from town which is great. This being our second stay in Beaufort it was very nice not to have to drive to downtown. I highly recommend this place to other people looking for a place to relax and unwind!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We recently stayed at the house for our son PI graduation. 4/12-4/15 2011 It was conveniently located to get to PI and to town...We really enjoyed our stay and probally spent most of our time in the big screened in front porch. We were able to bring our little Toby, all 3 lbs of him and he loved running in the back yard. <smile> There were 7 of us and there was plenty of room to move about and still have our privacy. Thank you Linda for your hospitality.. BTW you must eat at the dockside restaurant off of 11th street.Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The renovation of this house was nicely done. Kitchen and bathrooms very modern but the charm of the house was kept. Clean, quiet. Pleasant walk to shops and restaurants. Owners very well organized. Loved the rocking chairs on the screened-in porch.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, tourists without a car.

Me and a few of my bridesmaids rented this lovely cottage for the weekend as a kind of bachelorette getaway and it was lovely. The house is very neat and decorated beautifully. We had a wonderful stay and were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. I am hoping to rent it again for the week that I get married in May!Recommended for: Families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

Thank you Brian and Linda for providing us with a beautiful place to stay while attending our sons graduation from boot camp at Parris Island. The house was perfect for 7 people, the rooms were layed out great to give everyone the privacy they needed. I loved the fact that it was recently renovated so everything was new and very clean. It was perfectly decorated which gave you the feeling of being in your own home. It had everything you needed to be comfortable. The house was very close to restaurants, grocery stores and most importantly Parris Island. I would recommend this house to everyone who is visiting Beaufort, South Carolina.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Thank you Brian and Linda for a beautiful place to stay during our sons graduation from Parris Island. Perfect for 7 people, enough room for everyone, very comfortable, clean, everything you need and all the comforts of home. One great thing about this home is that everything is renovated and has that feeling of new and clean. It is also perfectly decorated which gives you a sense of being in your own home...My husband especially liked the private bath in one of the bedrooms ,it gave him some privacy and he didn't mind staying with others. Washer and dryer was great, lots of hot water and very comfortable beds. Also it is perfectly located, close to stores, restaraunts, and Parris Island. I would def. recommend this house to anyone staying in this area especially people visiting Parris Island. Brian and Linda are very accessible to contact if you need anything which made everything very easy.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
