  This is one of nicest places we have ever stayed in. It is always clean and the accomodations are very comfortable and inviting. I would definitely recommend this property to a friend or relative. We hope to make this a yearly trip and will also be returning to the North Pole which we would highly recommend to others.

  My wife and I spent our ten year anniversary here. The accommodations and setting was excellent. The cabin itself was very clean and comfortable. Even though there is no stove we took advantage of the small grill to cook two of our dinners which worked out great. We look forward to our next "romantic" stay at this location and would highly recommend it to other couples looking for a getaway.

  Me and my wife went to this cabin over Thanksgiving week to get away from reality for a bit. We drive from Texas and it was well worth it. The views from the cabin were incredible and it was so quiet and peaceful..the chairs and wind chimes on the balcony were an excellent touch. Right around the corner from the cabin we saw a heard of deer and the views of pikes peak will leave you breathless. Not only was the cabin nice and clean but they had wifi and camping materials in the main center which were a huge +. This place is a must rent if you are staying in the Colorado Springs area!

  My stay was a retreat after a retreat. After attending a John Eldregde Wild at Heart Bootcamp at Younglife's Crooked Creek Ranch I was blessed with the opportunity to reflect, journal, rest, pray and hike at SonScape.It provided everything I needed to process all I had learned. My accomodations were delightful. I arrived in an early April blizzard which provided a blanket of peace and tranquility across the landscape. By the time I left three days later it was sunny and warm. The majesty of God's creation coupled with a delightfully appointed cottage resulted in a time of deep reflection and rest. Hiking around the area was inviting and invigorating. The cottage was fully equipped with everything one needs to rest, relax and enjoy the surroundings; including a working fireplace, spacious bed and bath areas and extremely comfortable furniture indoors and rustic chairs and tables on the back deck facing Pike's Peak. There were many "nice touches." I especially enjoyed the complimentary nuts, snacks, teas and hot chocolate. I highly recommend SonScape for getting away from the busy-ness of one's life. If peace and quiet is what you seek, this should be your destination. The surrounding natural setting will extract your anxiety while the excellent accomodations will make you feel pampered.

  My husband, 2 yr old son and I spent a week here and loved it. This place is perfect if you love the outdoors, privacy and wildlife! Very neat, clean and affordable! Thanks again!!

  My daughter and I got away for a 2 night stay and thoroughly enjoyed it. The accommodations were delightful. We enjoyed a warm, cozy fire and our favorite music played on our i-pod and the provided i-pod docking system. The furnishings are very nice. Snacks are provided along with a nice array of toiletries. Our stay did not include any meals but we were able to enjoy meals we brought using the provided microwave and refrigerator. I would highly recommend this mountain get-away for moms and daughters, husbands and wives, or just close friends. We shared a very comfortable (sleep number!) king size bed which was plenty big for the two of us. The hosts are very helpful and ready to serve. We were not able to take advantage of the trails around the property but will definitely do that next time as it is a very beautiful area with incredible views. We will definitely be back!

  The cabin at SonScape was more than I had expected. First, the drive from Colorado Springs is short - and beautiful. The cabin and the surrounding grounds were immaculate. The cabin has a beautiful living room with a deck overlooking the mountainside. The separate bedroom and bath are five star. I was given an unforgettable mountain experience. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a mountain condo at a very reasonable price. And - the owners could not have been more helpful in answering my questions. I can't wait to return.

  We came back this mountain because we had been here before for a week long retreat. We knew the accomodations were to top notch. The view of Pike's Peak is priceless. Everything listed on the VRBO site was provided and more. It was very clean. They've thought of everything from sunscreen to fancy soaps. If you are looking for a secluded get away in a mountaqin setting but want first class accomodations (sleep number bed, ipod dock, wifi at the gameroom) this is a the place. We will be back again!

  We arrived at this cabin suite tired, worn down and in much need of rest. When we stepped into the cabin, sunlight streamed through the windows into the quaint little room. Two cozy couches sat near a fireplace and a breathtaking view of Pike's Peak stood out beyond the glass windows leading to the back porch. It turned out to be the perfect getaway for us and by the end of our stay, we felt rested, re-energized and ready to tackle life again. Everything was clean and well-maintained and the owners were more than helpful in answering any questions we had. It would have been nice to have a stove, but the microwave worked just fine and made for easy meals. Overall, we would give this place a 5+ star rating and would recommend it to anyone in search of true rest.

Rental Agreement and Rules for SonScape Retreats Guest Suite Rental 1502 County Road 25, Divide, CO 80814 (elevation 9100 ft.) 1. CHECK-IN TIME is after 3pm MST (please no early check-in) and CHECK-OUT is 10am MST 2. No smoking in the Suite. 3. No pets permitted. 4. No children please. 5. We will not rent to vacationing students or persons under 25 years of age. 6. PAYMENT - A deposit payment equal to 50% of the total rental agreement amount is due upon booking. If booking is within 30 days of arrival, full payment is due at booking. 7. The balance of rental agreement amount is due 30 days before your arrival date. 8. All payments must be made by credit card or bank draft via our secure online payment website. 9. CANCELLATIONS - A thirty (30) day or greater notice is required for cancellation. Any booking deposit payments will be refunded minus a $35 cancellation fee. Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date, forfeit the full advance payment. Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent or deposit. 10. MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY - The maximum number of guests allowed are two (2) adults. This property requires a minimum two (2) night stay. If a rental is taken for less than the two night requirement, the guest will be charged the 2 night regular rate. 11. KITCHEN - This suite is equipped with a kitchenette. A refrigerator, microwave, toaster, 4 cup coffee pot and a small selection of dinnerware are available. No cook top, oven or other cooking furnishings are provided. 12. LINENS AND TOWELS - Linens and towels are provided. 13. NO DAILY MAID SERVICE - While linens and bath towels are included in the suite, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. 14. RATE CHANGES - Rates are subject to change without notice, unless rental agreement has been secured. 15. FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS - Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of all payments including advance payment and second payment, and the party will not be permitted to check in. 16. STORM AND DISASTER POLICY - No refunds will be given unless: a. The Teller county Sheriff’s Dept. (or another authority) orders a mandatory evacuation due to forest fire or other natural disaster. In this event the rental for the unused number of days for a guest currently registered will be refunded and the unusable number of days for a guest scheduled to arrive will be refunded. Wintertime snowstorms can create difficulty in accessing the suite. The road will always be plowed; however, there could be residual snow and ice on portions of the driveway. We recommend 4-wheel drive in the winter months. 17. SEPTIC SYSTEM - This property has a septic system that is sensitive to non-decomposing items that may be introduced into it. Please don’t flush harsh cleaners, trash, diapers, feminine hygiene products or other items that don’t decompose into toilets. 18. PRIVACY ON PROPERTY - There are other suites adjacent to this rental suite and we ask that you would respect the privacy of others that may be on the property. 19. No campfires, hunting or discharging of firearms. 20. DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY - I hereby relinquish all claims against the owners for any and all injuries, for all persons in my registered party, that may have occurred upon this property located at 1502 County Road 25, Teller County, Divide, Colorado 80814. I understand that this is mountainous country and that portions of this 17-acre tract include steep, rough, rocky ground and does have some shallow mining prospector pits about. Furthermore, I understand that this property is located at 9100 feet elevation, and that elevation may have adverse affects upon medical conditions. I also understand wild animals are in the area and can pose a threat, I will take full responsibility for myself and the guests in my party. 21. SONSCAPE RETREATS ALUMNI - Sorry but retreat leaders will not be available to meet with during rental stays. Revised 9/16/11
