A great deal for the price - clean, spacious room, two beach chairs, large wrap around porch, extra linens, well-supplied kitchen. Very low-key and relaxing. Great location in Grand Case - close to shops, restaurants, Octopus dive shop, but generally very quiet, though one night there was a "dance party" late into the night at the "Le Shore" restaurant next door. Wi-Fi was not available while we were there, so we had to go to a cafe down the street. Marie and Karen were friendly and easily reachable. If you are looking for clean sheets every day and maid service go to the high priced hotels.If you can deal with an immaculate studio with the best in linens,towels,and appliances, a tiled bath floor to ceiling,a relaxing porch to sit on in the evenig, then this is the place for you. We cooked in often and found everything we needed in the kitchen.The beach just out your door and a short stroll to downtown Grand Case, the location is ideal.To set the record straight,the studio is located on the second floor, there is no microwave,nor is there a washer,but Shirley who lives downstairs and takes care of the owner will gladly provide laundry service(for a modest price) Pack lightly,kick back and enjoy. About the owner: I am a born St Martener and lived in the US for all my life. I came back to St Martin to retire and live peacefully my old days. My house is so big for me alone that I have decided to rent part of it and share our way of life with visitors..I hope you'll enjoy this cute apartment and appreciate our friendly island of St Martin, and all she has to offer....
