Relax on our spacious dock, swim in our warm, sandy shallows. Fish, canoe, kayak or water ski to your hearts delight. Living quarters are comfy and private. The Great rooms are great places to gather with friends and family to relax and sip your evening spirits.
The property has a lot size of 200 ft. wide X 250 ft. deep. This property nestles a beautiful 2-storey, with 2 completely sealed and separate units equaling a 4,000 sq. ft cottage that consists of 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms in the Hillside unit and 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom in the Lakeside unit. Both units can be opened to have full access to the entire estate for weddings, family reunions and large family gatherings ready to have a great time! My family had a wonderfull thanksgiving weekend here at Whispering Pines cottage. We rent the upper luxury Hillside and the lower cottage cosy Lakeside ... excellent choice for our large family. There was nothing we could have asked for more as it was all here. Complete kitchens ( 2 of them!) great wine... great views and super hot tub with a fireplace and in the Lakeside Cottage a gorgeous Vermont Casting wood stove that gave warmth and ambience. The McNamara family had a family reunion with family members from the age of one year to 83 . Norma did a wonderful watercolor of the property's woods nearby. Everyone had a wonderful time filled with heartfelt memories. They found the cottage lacked for nothing and was a joy to have their special family vacation in the heart of the Muskokas on the edge of the Algonquin Highlands.Did you find this review helpful? Everything was thought out for our family. We wanted for nothing . We cross country ski all day here and nearby. Then we hit the hot tub and sat by the roaring fire in the Lake side retreat eating and drinking to the wee hours of the morning. The beds are very comfy and lots of blankets which we like. the kitchen had all we needed to make our meals although we did eat out nearby at some great places. We are booking our next holiday here! B & DRecommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.
