  Your home was a true pleasure to have stayed in for the weekend. Everything that we needed was there plus the home and beds were very comfortable. The view from the home and decks were truly peaceful and beautiful. We will definitely look you up again when we come back this way. Thank you for making our stay a very happy and content one, we regret not being able to spend more time at the home. The only issue was that we had a hard time finding the grocery store, so maybe a map or directions to the strip mall with all the amenities. Thank you again!!

  This is an amazing property. We stayed for a week with our two little ones and my parents and had an amazing time. The house is fully equipped, clean and beautiful as described. The 4-tiered deck is where we spent most of our time. Make sure your kids are confident on stairs, as there are LOTS of small staircases...my 15 month old was just old enough I think. My dog averaged 4 swims a day at the private beach and I think had the most fun out of all of us. We did a different day trip each day and everything was with in 30 mins by car (Thetis lake (so WARM), Beacon Hill Park, Downtown, Fisherman's Wharf (fresh CRAB!), Cadboro Bay). It was always great to come back to the house after a day out. It was nice yet still very comfortable. Thanks Pat! No complaints here :)

  We recently had the pleasure of staying at this sanctuary near Victoria, and it was a real pleasure to have a slice of Vancouver Island beauty, to wake up to the tranquility and beauty of the area, with its serene and magical water ways and local bird life. You can comfortably kayak around the waterways only steps away from the back patio. I wonderful time in a wonderful location, highly recommend it !

  We used this home to accommodate a buddies golf trip. Location was very central to all golf (6-15 minute drives) and perfect deck overlooking the water to re-live the day. Pictures on the website are accurate for the inside of the home which is beautiful, but underestimate the outside and view which was our favorite part. I would highly recommend this home and hope to stay again in the future!

  Our party of ten stayed a week and rented both the upper and lower level. Our first few days were spent just lounging around the house. We didn't want to leave the minute we got there! We loved the modern decor and the amenities of the house. There was plenty of room for all of us and the three bathrooms were ideal. The backyard felt like a private oasis and the views (sunsets and moon reflecting in the water) were just fantastic! The house is about a ten minute drive to downtown Victoria so very convenient. Also lots of little parks and natural areas nearby. Pat was a pleasure to work with and always quick to reply to questions. We loved our week there! Thank you!

  This place was amazing! I came here with a group of girlfriends for an extended weekend get away! the house was beautiful inside, very clean and very spacious. The view from the kitchen is spectacular! There is more than enough deck space to enjoy coffee and and muffin outside in the morning! This place is located far enough from the city that you feel you've escaped, yet close enough that you can shop and enjoy if wanted. What an amazing place! i would highly recommend it for any sort of get away!

  I brought my parents and wife here with our dog to enjoy and explore Victoria. While sitting on the back deck on our first night, I said to my folks "Everywhere you look, it's as if you are in a design magazine". If it was only a designer home, we would have been thrilled, but there was more. Outside, it's as if you are in paradise, with views of the snow-capped mountains, water and lush full foliage. It's simply paradise. We borrowed a canoe from Ian and paddled out into the straight and explored an island with an old abandoned brick home which was really neat. This is a peaceful place on a peaceful street surrounded by peaceful water in the back. It was like a dream.

  We stayed here for four weeks in the fall during our relocation. It is a great location in a quiet cove with wonderful decks to sit on. Being able to walk to the little beach was a treat and the otters were a joy to watch. The floor to ceiling windows were excellent on rainy days, as we could just sit and look at the view. Very relaxing. The house had everything we needed for our stay, including little extras like spices and oil for cooking. I way worried about possible noise from the basement suite but we never heard anyone down there and the outdoor living space was separate. There is a coffee shop and pharmacy within walking distance but you need transit to get groceries. I would stay here again and recommend it to families.
