Le Moulin Corbel is set by a (fenced) millpond with trout, in ten acres of land and woodland. It provides the perfect holiday setting for one or two families.
It is close to boulangeries and tabacs, 12 minutes from the medieval town of Lamballe and all its facilities, and 20 minutes from the Emerald Coast's beautiful beaches.
The mill was recently painted and is exceptionally light and airy. It is divided into two parts, the house (sleeping seven) and the cottage (sleeping five).
The cottage is within the house, as seen in the picture, but accessed separately, by stairs that run up the front of the house. (Years ago, this would have been the accommodation part of the mill.)
The house has a large dining room with an old country table seating ten to 12, and a large sitting room with sofas surrounding a fireplace, table and chairs for games and writing, and a further sofa and chairs for television viewing. All rooms have central heating.
Upstairs there is a master room with one double-size bed, a twin room with two single beds, and the third room with adult-sized bunk beds and a single bed. There is a good quality, put-up bed that can be placed in the hall if necessary. All rooms have wonderful views over the millpond.
The cottage has a good-sized reception room with sofabed encircling fireplace, dining area, and kitchenette. Upstairs there is a double-size bedroom with additional single bed. There is also a bathroom with shower and water closet. |
