The UPPER LEVEL has :

B) A cozy living room, a traditional antique dining room which seats 8, guest bathroom with shower, 1 wc and a fitted, fully equipped kitchen.
Its’ spacious, panoramic terrace (150 sq.m.) offers breath-taking views where you can sunbathe while enjoying your cocktail during the day, or relax gazing at the sublime sunset while savoring a candle-lit romantic dinner.
The LOWER LEVEL has 2 double bedrooms with en suite bathrooms (showers), and a surrounding panoramic garden (300sqm) which provides shade and respite from the hot sun. Being independent, these rooms offer privacy and tranquility for guests, even when large parties are in occupation, having their own private veranda which is literarily hanging over the cliff!!

Looking for a place for myself and a group of women friends, I knew my choices were limited because I needed separate beds for everyone. I also knew that photos could be deceiving so my expectations were low. However, if I had to do it all over again, this is the place I would come. The pictures were accurate and we had an incredible experience. We didn't have a car but the location was perfect. It was quiet but within walking distance of anything we needed. We spent hours on the gorgeous outdoor area but best of all were the hours we spent around the dining room table talking and talking. The house was equipped with anything we could need and if we needed anything else charming Mr Mihalis was a phone call away. He made us Greek coffee one morning and brought us ice and even took 3 of us into Thira so we could do the first major shopping ( we took a taxi back). The owner was totally responsive to my emails and very patient with all my questions. I would not hesitate to recommend this villa to anyone. One of my friends is already hoping to rent it with her husband and 2 other couples.Recommended for: Girls getaway, tourists without a car, age 55+, sightseeing, families with teenagers.

This villa is the perfect place to stay in Santorini. We stayed there with a group of friends and we all loved it. The description is spot on, if anything the photos understate how beautiful it is; but then the view of the Caldera can never really be captured entirely in a photo - you have to go there!!. Sitting on the gorgeous terrace at sunset sipping a mojito was just incredible and that memory will sustain me through the long cold winter days. The villa is perfectly laid out, with the incredible terrace overlooking the Caldera being the centerpiece. The sleeping quarters are quite separate or on lower level and so everyone has their space. It is very comfortable and well equipped and it all works perfectly (including wifi). The rooms were clean, spacious and quiet. The owners did a fantastic job and this is not just a rental villa - it is their holiday home and therefore exudes the love that they feel for the place. I am grateful that they make it available to us mere mortals. The location is in my opinion the best on the island: the best view of the Caldera, and within walking distance of Fira and Imerovigli where you can find shops, bars and restaurants. This was our first time in Santorini and we just loved it: it's offers more than a seaside vacation. It has history, there are places to see inland as well as the beaches. To enjoy all this renting a car is essential. I have no hesitation in strongly recommending this villa to friends or family as I cannot wait myself to back as soon as possible.Recommended for: Age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with teenagers.

Thank you for an amazing vacation!! We spent a week on Santorini staying at this fabulous villa. It sits perched on the edge of the Caldera and while the crowds scramble every evening to find a spot to see the famous Caldera sunsets we lounged exclusively, sipping cocktails, on the huge terrace and witnessed night after night the most amazing sunsets with the fading sunlight bouncing, glittering and then fading on the sea, the islands and the horizon. The villa is very comfortable, well equipped (wifi works perfectly) and is the "real thing", unlike some of the artificially created newish small hotels nearby which all look very similar. The owners of Vila Spiti Elafas have done a great job in creating a place with charm and character and we are lucky that they are making this gem available to others. We stayed in one of the lower level bedrooms and were very pleased: clean, good sized room, firm beds and nice strong shower. And the bonus: as you open the shutters in the morning the reward is the breathtaking Caldera view. Our friends who used the other rooms were equally impressed with their accommodation. This was our first time in Santorini and we loved the island! There is much to see both by the sea and inland so I would recommend renting a car on arrival. The villa is very well located and you can easily walk to nearby Fira to find shops, bars and restaurants. Also in walking distance is pretty Imerovigli with many excellent restaurants. And after a day out it was always a joy to retreat to the quiet haven of this villa. A week was not enough and we will definitely return and we plan to stay again at this amazing villa, so I have no hesitation in wholeheartedly recommending it.Did you find this review helpful? Our family group of 6 found this amazing villa to be far more fabulous than the pictures already make it seem. You have to experience it for yourself, sitting on the terrace, enjoying the sitting area, and just standing "on the edge" in awe of God's incredible power and mankind's resiliency over time to make the most beautiful place on earth their home. We are so grateful that the owner shared her home with us by renting it out. What a blessing to us! It was wonderful to meet and talk with the caretaker. He was so kind and so attentive. We got a real feel for living in Santorini by staying away from the tourist cruise ship crowds in Fira and walking into the small market as well as the Fresh Coffee shop down the path from us where we met "Spinach Man" and his wife daily for coffee and our Spinach pies. The black sand beach at Perivolos was not crowded, a quick bus ride away. Everyone we met was so friendly. The home was a real home, extremely comfortable, plenty of showers and bathrooms for all of us to enjoy our personal space and get some much needed rest and relaxation. The most amazing thing is how quiet it is looking out toward the volcano every morning, noon, and night. Peaceful, even with cruise ships tendered in the distance. The home was just as advertised, everything worked, and it was a dream come true--pictures you will take in the Villa Espiti Elefas during your stay are where the world's great screensavers come from. You will find yourself saying, "Oh my goodness. It is just like all the pictures. This is Santorini! And, I am really here." I'm sure the hotels are nice, but staying in this great villa is a real experience, an unforgettable one.
