  November 2012 RE: VRBO 327385 Barefoot Landing South Carolina For the past few years, we have been going to Florida or Myrtle Beach for the month of November We are three widowed Canadians of ages 73 to 68 and also have 2 small dogs. We are generally in good health but one of our group has Parkinson's and has mobility issues. Being on the ground floor, our location was perfect to meet such needs. There was handicapped parking right in front of the unit and without stairs, we could easily use a walker, cane or wheelchair. We found the screened in porch to be a wonderful place to sit and read and even nod off. At the front of the condo, there are a lot of sidewalks for safe walking. We frequently drove to the beach and boardwalk to experience the ocean using the wheelchair. The Haven section of Barefoot Landing Resort is most definitely dog friendly. There are racks with plastic bags and containers to deposit filled bags. These containers are emptied every day. The kitchen is very large and bright and it is wonderfully equipped. We prepared a full Thanksgiving dinner in recognition of our location. There was plenty of comfortable seating. We declined the opportunity to use the outdoor pool. ? The condo is close to all amenities you require for an enjoyable vacation: shops, grocery stores, restaurants and large department stores. We thoroughly enjoyed the Christmas show at the Alabama theatre. The care and attention given to the condo plus the very efficient and friendly owner Cheryl made for an exceptional and delightful vacation.   The location of this ground floor unit was convenient to everything we chose to do and met all our family's needs quite well. It was comfortable, clean, and bright. Thanks so much for being pet friendly and allowing "all" our family to enjoy your home at the beach. Hope to duplicate this visit next summer. Cheryl, you are so easy to work with; thanks for answering all my questions before and after our visit.

  The condo was very clean and spacious. The ground floor location was convenient, with only a golf fairway in the rear and the pool was close but not that close that you could hear any noise. Everything went well with great communications with the owners. We would certainly rent this condo again in the future.

  There were 4 adult and 2 small children that stayed in the condo. It was very spacious, very clean, and extremely comfortable! We thoroughly enjoyed the comfort and "at-home" feel we had during our stay. My children thoroughly enjoyed eating breakfast in the screened in porch, and the adults enjoyed playing cards in there in the evening! The location is perfect...the pool is convenient, everything was great! The owners were very easy to work with, and very accomodating! The only suggestion we would make, is that it would be nice to have had some beach toys/chairs/umbrella already with the condo...that did not disrupt our vacation. We would happily rent from this owner and at this condo again.

  We spent 10 days here this month and had a wonderful experience. Great location, wonderful pool, comfortable condo - we didn't want to leave. You will not be disappointed with this condo! There were 6 of us and we had more than enough room. Owner was great to work with as well. We hope to come back sometime. Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful home!

  My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Everything was provided for us. The house was clean and comfortable and everything was in good working order. The bed was excellent...which is not always the case; but for folk with bad backs the bed is extremely important. The screened area made for a splendid breakfast area as well as for evening relaxation. The location is very convenient, particularly for dog owners who must periodically walk their friend. The owner was extremely easy to work with in every matter. We highly recommend this as an excellent vacation resting place. Gary and Sherry

  This condo was very nice and comfortable. The owners are super nice people. They were very helpful and were there for anything I needed. Very close to everywhere we wanted to go. You won't be disappointed. Had everything you need in a home away from home. I was alone with my small dog for over half the week and I never felt unsafe. We loved the place. Thank you so much Cheryl for renting your home to us.

  Great accomodations,great location,great owners to rent from. Near shopping, golf, attractions great restaunts and of course the beach. Very easy to get to and from anywhere you are going and sooooo comfotable when the day is done.We spent 3 weeks and it just wasn't long enough.I would definetly and will try to visit and rent again.
